Terrible customer service. Very poor at elevating issues and solving. After five attempts over 3 weeks for them to fix a two year old system they installed, I threw up my hands and called Reliant. A#1's customer care is terrible and their lines of communications (through a very suspect call center) is abysmal. I don't usually write reviews of complain, but I'm compelled here to point out the terrible level of service. Don't use.

Cesar is great. Customer service NEEDS training. We have been customers for a long time ( many years), had 2 leads service guys that came after 2 major issues ( Matt I. and Cody S.) both have been promoted, they say who comes here, they take care of us and make sure the techs will take care of our needs. Customer service gives us the run around and many times don't send the message to Cody or Matt. This time Cesar was here Tues. did some work to fix the units, weds at 7:55 a.m. we called that one unit was going off. Knowing my guys when we didn't get a call back by 11:00 thurs. we called again and went to operator ( we know if they got the message one of them or Cesar, would have called within a day) , Thurs. afternoon Cesar called and came Fri. morning. He replaced both units the 2nd was not functioning completely right either. THANK YOU CODY, MATT, an CESAR we know you will take care of us!

The service man claimed to find a bad '"heat kit" and blower motor leaking oil and wanted over $2300 to fix. Unit is12 years old, so not that old. He was rather insistent that it wouldn't be worth fixing and wanted to sell me a new one. Looked up heat kits for my unit on the internet, and they cost around $150, and blower motors about $200. I'm not sure how he came up with the $2300, but that seems like about $2000 too much! Even with installation charges, seems like an awful lot to me.

Service call went ok but asked for a quote on system replacement and A#1 Air's quote was several thousand over nearest other quotes. I believe in paying a little extra for good quality service but this was ridiculous. Will never use again.

Presumably the duct work was installed completely and properly. However, just yesterday, water poured into my kitchen as a huge part of the ceiling collapsed under the weight of water accumulating in the duct work. A different a.c. company came out and determined that the duct work was not properly configured/connected to the a.c. system in the attic which caused the water (condensation) to build up in the duct. Furthermore, the newly hired company said the incorrect coil was installed by the predecessor firm. The new coil to take place of the wrong one is $1,500. This is in addition to replacement cost of labor and materials for duct work, sheetrock, texstoning (sp?), etc. Lastly, the new firm said that the a.c. system in the attic was leaning and not level contributing to the water issue. A#1 was under a contract for inspecting the system when the firm installed the duct work in 2013 or 2014. (I can't recall which specific year the work was done). I never called A#1 Air to do further A.C. system checks because of the problem with prior estimates that kept increasing. Now, having this all new major problem, I not only won't use the firm ever again, but, I wouldn't encourage any others to use the services it offers either. It matters not how much money the firm puts into television advertising, if the firm does not do proper installations whether incorrect configurations and/or improper materials utilized, then hefty advertising means nothing. There should have only been one person originally to give an estimate and that estimate should have been adhered to, regardless. The $10,000 expense was I believe not only excessive but caused a great expense these few years later, beyond any warranty in place, had there been any. The approximate cost of service below does not refer to the repair expenses (labor and materials).
