Tier1 has functioned as a full-service contractor since 1996, specializing in advanced building science implementation in both residential and commercial remodeling applications. Tier1 Group offers a variety of remodeling service from large to small projects for residential, commercial and new construction. In addition to remodeling services, we offer home energy evaluations, pre-construction consultations and preliminary estimating services.

At first Tier 1 was the most responsive and most professional.  We had them attend our consult with the architect with the understanding that they would keep our project within a certain cost.  Once the plans were drafted they offered to handle the permitting but then said that they recommended paying a third party to do the permitting, this cost us 2 weeks time.  Once the plans were complete it took Tier 1 1 month to prepare a bid price that came in over twice the original project fee with no break down or explanation as to how the project cost got so out of line with the originally estimated price.  Once dissatisfaction in the price was voiced Tier 1 was no longer responsive in providing a detailed break down of the estimated fee.  It was decided to not go any further with the Tier 1 even though we were out the cost to prepare their fee.
