He was hired to correct an improperly installed metal roof. He only corrected half the problem and tried to use caulk to stop the other leaks. I called him out 2-3 times and all he did was smear on more caulk. The last time he never came out to look. I had also in the meantime had him paint my deck. The paint did not stick and could easily be scratched off with a fingernail. He never came out to look. He will not answer the phone and I have left him numerous messages, voice and Text, and he has not returned my calls. I initially thought I had finally found someone reliable, but unfortunately that is not the case.

DO not ever hire this man or company. He abandoned our contracted job after botching the pouring of a new patio slab and two sidewalks. He actually had a ridge of rocks he pushed up with the bull-float that were directly against my new patio door and he got cement in the tracks, all over my exterior walls, posts, and existing concrete and left it like that. He brought $52 a gallon Valspar paint to my house in non-descript containers and I made him go buy the right paint that I payed for. He left a 1-4 inch gap at the bottom of the hardi plank siding because he didn't put a scab board to attach it too. There are screws and nail heads sticking out all over the place. The list goes on and on. If you see this man RUN!!!!! He is a fraud and con artist. He put in new windows also, but never finished remudding the inside of the windows where they made really bad cuts, some gaps are 1 inch wide. The list goes on , but I think you see my point he is not to be dealt with, he is a fraud.

"The job should have been abandoned as Mr. Kirschner described it, long before it was; however, he failed to mention why the job was left undone; due to the fact Mr. Kirschner threatened to commit Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon against one of our subcontractors David Merrick. Instead, of calling the cops as we should have, we decided to go and do the concrete pour for the patio and 2-sidewalks. There were 5 phases to this job in the amount of $32,120; consisting of the root (40 squares); R&R siding & painting; Install windows; painting soffit & facia; and the concrete patio and 2 sidewalks. There is $2,000 still owed by Mr. Kirschner that was never collected from contracted work agreed upon. The only items left undone was 2 - 10 foot pieces of drip edge installed roof , touchup on siding, and bottom pieces of siding needed to be screwed to bottom plate, and a few nails & screws needed to be ground off. Mr. Kirschner from day one continued to add extra items in and changing items as he saw fit that was never charged. Mr. Kirschner got an extremely good deal, that is why he went with us over other contractors bids. Here is the original bid breakdown and the extras Mr. Kirschner added: Concrete: Paid for patio 10x12 (120 Sq Ft.) and got a 10x24 (240 Sq Ft.) costing $1,800 extra for the additional slab for forming, steel, R&R slab (jackhammering), labor, materials, and haul off. Mr. Kirschner raised cane until he got a complete patio slab knowing he only paid for half of one 10x12. In addition, Mr. Kirschner paid for 36 inch sidewalks front & back and then widened the 2 sidewalks by 6 inches at 100 feet long. This cost us extra in labor & materials. Siding (R&R) Windows & Soffit Installed: All siding was installed. There was 5 Ft. of siding R&R due to electrician he hired not coming before siding was installed to cut inside breaker panel and cut out where old place was for inside breaker panel; costing us extra labor & material; installed 6 extra windows (free) because of already changing out siding; giving Mr. Kirschner $2,640 free in labor alone. There was the caulking around windows on inside but it was never convenient to get inside. The doors & windows front & back had to be reframed to accept the trim. While changing out the windows was when it was discovered walls weren?t strapped (no brick ties). It cost us in delay time for mortar contractor to fix. Painting - Siding, Facia & Soffit: The soffit changed out was only where patio roof installed, and that was left unpainted. Mr. Kirschner raised cane about how the soffit was not running in the same direction as the siding did, not understanding how soffit was installed. All facia boards were completely painted. Roof: Completed 40 squares on roof; there are 2 - 10 Ft pieces, drip edge not installed due to construction of patio. The feed through around electric service is not our place to do, that would be the electrician he hired. There was trash haul"

I am unable to confirm the work quality, since it is a two story home; however, there are no leaks or shingles blowing up when the wind blows. The roofer was prompt and very nice. I felt the minimum cost of $250 regardless of the work was a little high.

He did not tell me an estimate in advance and my mistake is that I forgot to ask for cost estimation in advance. He caulked (just caulked with a caulking gun) the roof of my bay windows on first floor for about 20 MINUTES. He invoiced me $250.00. I got a big rip-off.

When I came out I fixed the problem after I told you what was the problem. You understood the flashing needed to be caulked to stop your water leak.
