This team is awesome, Rusty is very easy to speak to and we were on the page immediately with this project. We had to have the entry sidewalk and driveway replaced we agreed upon a price and with a ten percent down payment we were on his schedule. He and his team arrived two days later as scheduled ,on time, on Friday and went right to work early in the morning with hammer in hand they broke up the sidewalk and used their Front Loader to assist in breakup the driveway. By that afternoon they had the broken concrete loaded in a dump-truck and gone. They installed the ground barrier and rebar and went home for the weekend and much needed rest. Monday Rusty and his team arrived on schedule and they began laying the mud and were finished by the mid afternoon. His team of three kept the area clean as possible and were meticulous. Very Professional work and courteous I just stayed out of their way and watch in amazement. This is a 5 Star Concrete and Excavation business we would call upon again. Thank You Rusty and your crew!

Let me start off by saying Rusty’s Team of guys are extradentary. I had a 56 foot retaining wall, 4 feet high that was over 15years old. It had been collapsing for longer than I thought and was in worse shape than I realized. I began searching the internet for ideas to repair it and came across Rusty’s website at 3am in the morning. After speaking with him on many occasions, I quickly realized he was the one I wanted to rebuild my wall. 6500lbs of railroad ties were removed by his 3 guys. Because of space restrictions everything had to be dug by hand. His guys worked their tail off, even in freezing conditions. He kept me informed and taught me why certain things had to be done a certain way. The wall was formed and rebuilt with solid concrete. Him and his guys went the extra mile to re-support my sloping shed that had been dropping from the erosion and the collapsing wall. Totally pleased with the outcome. He stayed with the job to the end, despite some rough snags we hit along the way. I would definitely recommend him without a doubt

I was building a pool in my backyard earlier this year (February 2021), and after the pool was put in place, I had to wait for my pool builder’s concrete crew to secure the concrete and have availability to pour the concrete decking. Fast-forward to July, and there was still no movement on completing the project. Rusty and his crew then stepped in and were pouring concrete within a week of contacting him. My backyard was a fiberglass pool surrounded by a huge gravel pit before Rusty got involved – and as I write this in late October of 2021, it still may have been without Rusty’s connections and expertise. Pictures of the before-and-after are attached to this review. I cannot say enough good things about Rusty and the people who work for him (Alonzo and Alfredo are unbelievable and INCREDIBLY good at what they do). They framed and poured my pool deck – and broke down the forms – all in 1 day. It looks so good! While they were finishing up on the concrete, I asked Rusty if he could recommend any good landscaper to help turn the rest of my yard into a livable space – and he said, “Yeah… ME.” So, we talked over the vision I had for my backyard, and he came back a little while after the deck was finished to take measurements and sketch out a plan. When I tell you that the completed project was EXACTLY as I envisioned it in my head, I’m being 100% honest. He truly is a magician with a concrete wand. Here’s the deal: We all are apprehensive about having contract work done on our home or business. It’s nerve-wracking and we don’t want to get ripped-off on a job – especially if it turns out we don’t like it. Rusty is not the cheapest guy out there, and for good reason. He will explain every detail, be there at the site every single day, be able to change things on the fly to make sure you’re totally happy, and he’ll come back and check on the completed job as often as you’d like until you’re comfortable or just have any questions about how things turned out. I honestly could not be happier with the work he did for me. There’s not a tangible price I can put on peace of mind. Just to put a tidy little bow on this review about Rusty Crain: his wife is a literal competitive body builder; his oldest son is a veteran and served as an active-duty Marine; his other son was an undersized middle-linebacker in high school who set the school record for total tackles in a single game his Senior year. He and his entire family do not know the definition of “half-a**” or “just good enough”. The attitude, dedication, and pride he puts into his work is the “fine print” in his deals – and that’s WAY more important than the sticker price.
