A+++: Excellent, quality, professional service and installation in a very timely manner: Clifford immediately addressed our need for air conditioning during record heat (Texas, August 2019) and then provided several options including replacing one component rather than a whole new system. We decided it most feasible to get a totally new system (both compressor and air handler) and he addressed umpteen questions before we made a final decision. Clifford offered ideas and suggestions but never pushed us to purchase a whole new system or the pricier systems or components. Very impressed with the quality and efficiency of his work: he and his helper put down coverings to protect our floors for the interior (air handler) installation, and completed the professional installation in less than one day. Very impressed with his attention to detail and some customization during the installation. We were concerned about noise and the 'variable-speed" air handler he installed is remarkably quiet and cools well. Highly recommend and would definitely use again.

Mr. Worthy obtained the unit and made an appointment suitable to my schedule to complete the installation. He showed up on time and finished the job within the promised time frame. He did a good job on the install and we now have a cool house again! I could not be more pleased with his professionalism and his service delivery. He is an honorable, trustworthy man and I would do business with him again if the need arose. His bill exactly matched his quote.

They called me back in 45 minutes, and gave me an appointment at the house around 11. Called back after a while, and rescheduled, and apologized for. Hey, it can happen. The technician and me arrived at the house almost simultaneously. He went to work on the unit right away, explained to me what he was doing, had it fixed in 30 minutes. Checked the coolant pressure, looked at the unit all over, and that was it. Professional, efficient, and did not try to "up-sell" me anything. I will use them again, if I need to.

To give this review, I have to go back many years to the first time I used Patriot A/C. After getting a diagnosis and bid for significant repairs from another company, which would have been very expensive, I called out Cliff Worthy for a second opinion. He quickly diagnosed the problem accurately and replaced a non-functioning switch for about $60 as best I can remember.
I have used him on one other occasion before this recent problem and have recommended him to friends and family in need of A/C work. The consensus of all is that Cliff is a man you can trust to be honest, knowledgeable and reasonable with his pricing. There aren't too many service people I would trust to leave in my house alone or give a blank check to be filled out with the total. I trust Cliff Worthy to this degree. And I believe that with his knowledge and fair-minded approach to business, I don't need to get a second opinion on what is being recommended.
Cliff just lives up to his name.

Mr. Worthy inspected the air conditioning system in the house we are purchasing and provided an estimate on how much it would cost to fix items he found problems with. He was very thorough and explained things as he went along. After he was done he gave recommendations on what we could do to make improvements in the future. Mr. Worthy was very knowledgeable and detailed with his work.

Clifford came out to diagnose our Air Conditioning. The 2nd floor, serviced by a 2-ton unit, was running almost continuously, while not cooling the upstairs adequately. He determined that the evaporator coil in the attic was leaking freon and needed to be replaced. We had the choice of replacing the coil, or the entire A/C system, which would allow us to upgrade to a more energy-efficient design. The cost of a new higher-efficiency system was so much more than replacing just the coil (we had replaced the outside unit 2 1/2 years ago), that we opted for the coil replacement. Clifford quote us a price and stuck to that price. He arrived as promised and put down drop cloths to protect our flooring. He removed the old coil and installed a new one, carefully sealing the unit and upgrading to meet new code requirements. The A/C upstairs now runs great. It cools the 2nd floor better than we've experienced in many years and runs much less. Great job Clifford! And the price was reasonable.

Mr. Worthy helped me to think through my problem and address it with a practical solution. His work is skilled and professional. This is the fifth or sixth time I've used Patriot Services. I recommend Mr. Worthy without hesitation.
