KASTLE KEEPERS HOUSEKEEPING

After the first "cleaning," our relative asked us to please discontinue the service.
Vicky Chapman, the proprietor of Kastle Keepers, had spent almost five hours in our relative's house and had hardly cleaned anything. She apparently complained constantly, told our relative that he had too many "things" in her house and refused to pick up anything to dust beneath it.
In the bathroom and kitchen, she did not move any items off the counter and just ran a damp cloth over the surfaces, complaining that there was a coffee stain on the kitchen counter that needed bleach to be removed. We cleaned it with a damp paper towel.
Furthermore, she sat down at our relative's kitchen table for an hour to eat her lunch and brag about her travel and shopping experiences, admonishing our relative that he needed to start visiting casinos and shopping at upscale grocery stores.
When we called to cancel the service, we asked Ms. Chapman to refund $350 of the $450 we had paid her upfront, but she claimed she did not have the money, that she had already spent it.
After six months of phone calls and letters, she finally mailed us a check -- for $250. She said in her note that she felt we owed her the extra money because she had turned down other work to make that one visit to our relative's house. Fortunately, the check cleared and we decided to wash our hands of this unprofessional company.
We would not recommend this company to anyone and we would never use Kastle Keepers again.
