Jim's Pest Control

He was great. He said he would come back if I had more problems with the ants. The ants were in the house, and were coming through the outlet. I was happy with result and the price. He was very responsive and I did not have any problems with him.

He was very friendly and punctua. I was having a hard time finding someone to come out that day but he would. He looked around the house to see where the ants were coming in and sprayed inside and outside and then he told me of a spray I could use on my yard to keep the ants under control.

The owner of the company has been out 3 times and didn't charge me to retreat. Each time he had trouble finding our place. We had to keep calling him back because we weren?t seeing any improvement with the problem. He seemed like he was trying to do the right thing. After several attempts at getting rid of our pest problem, I called him telling him that the fair thing to do is give me a refund. He called back irate because he had been out 3 times himself and wanted to know if that was good enough. It wasn't good enough because the pests are still in my house. He used profanity and would not give the refund.

Since I wrote this I hired BugMaster Pest Control to come out.  They have been here ONCE.  We no longer have a bug problem.  They did in one trip what Jim?s Pest Control could not accomplish at all.  They charged me just over $100 and I am completely satisfied.  They did a much more thorough job that included attic and yard and the problem is GONE!!!!  If Angie is still listing Jim?s services she should be ashamed of herself.

We moved to a new home and discovered that we had ants throughout the house. We found Jim's Pest Control through Angie's List and contacted them for an inspection and initial treatment. When they arrived, they did a thorough inspection and proposed a treatment plan (including, among other things, placing copper wool in the weep holes on the brick exterior). The plan seemed reasonable, and service was promptly provided. We subsequently contracted for quarterly service. It has been problem free and we have had no issues.

Two years ago I discovered a termite infestation in a 4x4 support post for my front stairs. I called Jim's Pest Control, who thoroughly injected termador into the ground surrounding the supports for the porch. I replaced the 4x4 and restained the stairs, knowing I would need to later replace some of the steps. For two years there has been no further termite activity, so I removed the old steps that had begun to dry rot, and called Jim's to do a preventative treatment, before I replaced the stairs with new wood. The work was done promptly and effectively, giving me a feeling of confidence that my stairs won't be termite fodder any time soon.

He was fine. He did his job. We contracted him for a year. We had a fire ant problem. He didn't help us with an armadillo.

I have used them since I moved into my home in May of 2003. I had a problem with a opossum and had critters in the attic. They were very responsive and worked with me to solve the issue, despite the altered schedule. I appreciated their service. They are very good at what they do.
