FLOWBEES

Two companies came and couldn't help us: the hill was too steep, the area was too far from the road, their pump trucks were too big to come down, their hoses weren't long enough. Fortunately, one of them recommended Flowbees. Mike told us we needed a new pump and new tanks because the old pump was not working and the old tanks were leaking, hence the faint sewer smell we had noticed around that area. (Septic tank stories are hardly ever pretty, but they do tell you how necessary they are!) He put in a temporary pump and we had a temporary tank on the driveway, so we could still use the toilets and do laundry. He was a bit optimistic as to the timeline of it all, but in the end had the new system up and running within the committed timeline, and without too much discomfort. He has a good knowledge of the business and knows his way around City Halls. He was very professional and so was his crew. When the new pump and the new tanks arrived, he installed the pump, excavated the old tanks and installed the new ones. They left the area nice and even and now there is grass growing on it and it actually looks nicer than it did before. The old tanks were cleaned and hauled away by them, as well. We paid $20,000 for the whole job, which sounds like a lot of money, but my husband says it is actually a good price for what was done.
