They had to come back a couple of times because the keypad that they put out didn't work. It was fine, they were responsive about that. I had a problem with my gate and I tried to call and I get like either a busy signal or I get like a fax machine signal. Then I thought, "Well, I'll go back" I keep all my emails from folks when they send me bids or whatever. I went back to one of their emails and I tried to email them and didn't get a response. I don't know if they've gone out of business. I don't know what's going on. When I was dealing with them they were great. But lately, I don't know what's going on with them. They did the job, they just haven't been there to follow-up on problems. When you approach my gate there is a sensor that opens the gate for you automatically. That doesn't work anymore. So you have to use like a little tiny remote button to make it open. That's not good because my guests, who don't have little buttons, can't get out unless I follow them down there. They're still online I mean, I found their website or at least their listings but I haven't been able to get anybody to respond to me. I liked the people. They were very professional, very nice and personable people. They made good on what wasn't working. They were right on it when I had problems.

Good initial install. Had some problems but they came out to diagnose and repair the problems at no charge. I would use them again.

It worked for a little while, then I started having occasions where I press the opener a couple of times, but that was not a big deal. Then I wasn't home for about 3 months, when I came back I asked them to put a Knox box in so the fire department and police department could get in if they ever needed to. He worked on it and he adjusted it and a few days later the the gate would not even work at all and a siren kept going off. He never gave me a key. He showed me how to take the pins out but when I did that the arm of the gate didn't go back and it just hung from the wall. I need the key to open the gate. I have tried to call practically every day and I have no idea if he is coming or not because he never returns my calls. Now I am stuck in the driveway and can't get out of my gate. Now the gate is stuck in the concrete and it won't even move.

Excellent work by Steve and his team. First of all, he was almost half the price of the other 2 quotes that I received. This included a gate operator of similar quality. His welders came out a day earlier than expected (on July 4th no less) and did a superb job quickly. They had to add a steel bar to keep a single post gate from leaning and painted it black to match the rest of the fence, without me having to ask them to do so. The rest of the team followed up the next day and quickly replaced the automatic gate operator. They even programmed the remote into my car AND programmed the garage door remote (which they had nothing to do with). They cleaned up everything. An outstanding job. Highly recommended.

TERRIBLE. SEE COMMENTS ABOVE.
Response from CENTRAL TEXAS ACCESS CONTROLS
"We worked to correct any issues. The Gate opener was out of warranty but she felt we should repair it at no cost. The price of 14000.00 that was given in the report was completely incorrect, It was 1400.00. We felt that working for this member should be stopped."

I called Steve about getting an automatic gate opener installed. It was an urgent need because I live alone and had broken my leg. My dear sister had been staying with me for over 2 weeks, but it was so important for me to get my independence back.

Steve was so gracious about working me into his schedule. He got my system installed within 2 days of my call. He was so knowledgeable and helpful and sold me a system that was everything I needed and wanted. He and his crew arrived to the job on time and worked quickly and efficiently. They were very helpful in showing me everything I needed to know to operate the system.

This and other adjustments made to my home allows me to get by on my own. Steve is a life saver!

We had out wrought iron fence installed years ago and I had asked to have the sliding gate made ready to accept a motor when I could afford to buy one. I finally bought one and was going to install it myself, but it turned out to be much more involved than I had thought. I called Texas Access Controls who came out and gave me a bid for complete installation, including installing a safety light sensor, and setting up remote access buttons for the cars and a key pad, and a remote key chain button. I provided the motor and the remote access and key pads. They provided the light sensor equipment. The gate was also hard to open and he included new wheels in the bid (which made the gate very easy to open.) They came out one day as planned and installed the posts in concrete to hold the motor. After the concrete had set, they came back another day and completed the installation. They were very professional, prompt, and did the job in an expert way. I was very pleased. I believe they also do garage doors and I will call them in the future if I ever have any problems with my garage doors.
