I didn't hear anything until 12:55pm, when Jeremy called back to say he would be late (obviously). He finally arrived along with a tech around 3:00pm.
They crawled up to the plenum in the attic (no small feat) and adjusted the air flow there, which immediately fixed the problem in one of the rooms. They checked the inside and outside units and told me the system was a little on the small side (the previous owners had added onto the house), but that it was working fine. Jeremy recommended that we replace the ductwork to the remaining and quot;warm roomand quot; with a larger duct to push more air to it. We scheduled this work for 9:00am on Thursday morning.
They arrived on time and completed the work in around two hours, including replacing the duct, enlarging the hole where the air enters the room, and putting up a new larger vent. The results were great, I could immediately feel the difference in air flow and the room stays much cooler than it did before.
Bluebonnet did great work, my only complaint is the initial delay in getting someone out to my house, which leaves me wondering how they would handle a more time-sensitive problem.
