Drain Cleaning
It was on a Sunday, so the call back and the visit took several hours, to be expected I guess. The service man was nice and diagnosed a heat exchanger failure in my old Rinnai. He offered to replace it with a Navien model for $4600. I checked Amazon and the Navien model he quoted me on was $1415, Therefore, the markup on the heater and labor were going to be approximately $3000 plus change. I asked for a lower quote based on the cost of the heater on Amazon. The service man said that was not available. I just don't think marking up this unit by $3000 is reasonable. Your mileage may vary. Good luck.
