Rodney with Austin Woodworks spent many hours with me measuring, designing, redesigning and preparing plans, costs, and options to create the perfect custom, maple kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanity for a very modest price concerning their excellent quality. They use dado joints on all of their drawers, for example. He also had good ideas such as putting a kickplate behind the decorative feet of the cabinets to make them easier to clean. Unfortunately, since we had to move a load-bearing wall, I wound up hiring a general contractor who made me use his subs. The qualily of the cabinets I received was nowhere near the quality of Austin Woodworks'. I would use Austin Woordworks in the future and have already referred my neighbor across the street to them.

I called Steve, one of the owners whom I had been referred to by my prior builder. What a GREAT referral. I had worked with another company and Austin Work Works' quality was better and much cheaper AND I was not stuck with stock sizes since they do custom work. Steve put me with Rodney who is the most patient, innovative person. It has been taking so long because of ME. I have an unusual kitchen layout and am trying to solve many storage problems besides waiting on engineers to figure out how to move a load bearing wall. It has been so long and they have been so patient, I had to write a review before they finish the work. I will come up with a follow up review too. Their design services are excellent, their prices are excellent, and their finishes are beautiful and quality excellent. They have a plant in Leander and are very responsive. As soon as I get my floor plans from my designer next week, I can finally place my order.

Their workmanship and professionalism were excellent.
