The movers scratched my hardwood floors in 6 places and took 2 chunks out of my bedroom door frame trying to pull my dresser through. I watched it happen. I was told to email pictures to the claims lady, which I did. Their response was they spoke with the crew and the crew said they didn’t damage the home. I have pictures and and even sent them a picture of the chunk of wood. They are not taking responsibility for any of it. I would not recommend this moving company. Very unethical and not customer oriented.

Terrible. This company is a fake joke. I paid my deposit had someone show up for 2 hours and just sit in there truck. They didn’t end up moving a single thing and just waiting for their time to run out. I will be seeking reimbursement back plus any fines my landlords give me for a delayed move out. This moving company is a bunch of lazy thieves. You should remove them from angies list.

We were quoted one price of $115 per hour with a two hour minimum. When all was said and done, we were charged $145 per hour. Problem 1. We were called at 12:28 pm the movers called for us vfx to meet them. We thought they were going to start moving, but they wanted to see what needed to be done. Problem 2. The movers informed us that they have to go pick up a contract in Leander TX and that would take 1 - 2 hour. Problem 3. They called us at 2:12 pm to say they were at the storage facility. We we arrived, they were inside the gated facility. They had to have followed someone in since you have to have the code to open the gate. We arrived at 2:20 pm. Problem 4. Work was finished at 4:17 pm, but we were charged for 2.5 hours of work when they did not do a full 2 hours of work. I requested a refund of $132.00 because they charged us $362 instead of the $230 we were quoted. Per Tim, the operations mgr, we were charged extra $30 per hour because there were three movers not two. We were not told extra would be charged for the extra mover. ALTHOUGH THE WORK WAS DONE, DO NOT USE APACHE MOVERS. THEY MISREPRESENT THEIR PRICES. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

In general, Apache did an OK job. They were on time but showed up with a trailer that looked like it was rescued from the junkyard. Apparently, someone took one of the hand trucks from their trailer, so the 2 guys only had 1 hand truck. I will say that both of the guys were very hard workers, having only 1 hand truck did slow them down a bit. They did exhibit some unprofessionalism with foul language when taking some heavy furniture downstairs, one of the guys actually called my wife "babe". A few items got broken, but none of it was their fault (nothing of great value). They were very keen to add items and increase the cost, but the items left behind as their trailer was not big enough, were not decremented (maybe a $20 difference so no big deal). We did have a medium sized chest upstairs that they said the could move as it was full. As we finished up, my son carried that down the stairs by himself. We chose to do the inventory in advance and got a great price relative to the competition. The first thing the guy said while reviewing the move before they started, was that the price was not enough. I provided a list of items, they gave me a price, not sure what the issue was. Bottom line is you get what you pay for. Utilizing the inventory method resulted in price significantly below their competitors.

It was awful.  Please stay away from this company.  We had multiple items stolen.  I am editing and deleting the details of what they stole in this review because these guys are scary and they know where we live.  They also asked for us to give them some of our valuable things that they wanted.  Please stay away from this company at all costs.  They are criminals and should not be in business!

It was fine. They were a little late, within 10 minutes. There were a couple of things that jingled around but I don't think it was anything out of the moving spectrum. I think there were a couple little dings here and there.

We had Scott and Barrett as our movers and they were fantastic ... They did their very best to move furniture around these tight angles and multiple stairs cases. They were prompt, courteous , and professional throughout our move. Nothing was broken or damaged, they took the time to ensure our furniture was transported efficiently and with care. I would and will recommend Apache moving company again and again.

Went very well. I used the flat-fee moving which helped save 20%, but there were a few items that I had left off when I got the original quote, and they ended up adding about 90 bucks to the total. It had a bit of a last minute nickel/dime feel to it, but I still feel the total cost to move all of this stuff was well worth it (3rd floor apartment).

The problems:
- Inaccurate Estimates, blown by $3000
- Blown estimateon capacity needed to move all items.
- Showed up with pickups and moving trailers (two) which were not enough for this type of move.
- Movers were hostile, and overtired
- Furniture missing (Dresser Mirror) and not replaced or located
- Tossed furniture around, dinged it, scratched it
- I had to force via the owner to get them re-pack the trailer because they were actually going to leave me with unloaded stuff.  I drive a sedan.
- Did not make the timelines insisted upon;
- Blew the HOA move-in times
- Moving in at 3am because they would charge another move to come back the next day.
- I had to help them move the furniture because they were tired and marking up the furniture
- Didn't reassemble furniture because they had to be at another job
- Called the owner Terry to tell him that if one of the guys didn't leave I'd call the police
- Terry replied that if he didn't stay, they would take the rest of my furniture to a warehouse and go the legal route.
- The movers are not paid hourly, they are paid on commission, so they don't care if estimates are blown.  The racket is that they give you the low estimate so you select them, and then when they show up they start raising the prices.  "Oh we didn't understand this", "Oh we didn't know about that" bla bla bla.
- If you tell them that you won't pay, they tell you they will leave and you need to find another mover.  Good luck finding one on move day, and they use that to extort you for more money.
- Owner is openly hostile, great on the phone and through the process until the inevitable problems on moving day, then it's all of the above.
This is goon-level extortion at it's finest.

The move itself went fine except for the leather couch being damaged and then the next day we realized that the power tools in the container were missing. We called the owner Mr. Oliver and told him about. He said he would check his security tapes of the yard where he stores his equipment. He Ike to us the next day and confirmed that the items were on one of his vehicles but now he said that vehicle was on a job in Dallas so he couldn't tell if the tools were still in it or someplace else in his yard. He told us to wait a few days while he located the items and that if he couldn't find them he would replace them. We waited three days and called his office and left a message asking him to call. He did not return the call. After waiting ten days we still had not heard from him, even though I had made repeated phone calls asking for him. On the final phone call to his business on Aug 20 I explained to his employee that since he refused to return phone calls It was obvious that he had no intention of replacing my tools. I told the employee that I would be going on social websites to advise other customers of my negative experience with this company. I immediately got a call back from the owner, Mr. Oliver. He advised me that I had not read my contract and that he had 90 days to respond to me AFTER I filed a loss claim. I told him we never discussed contracts, we only discussed that he knew he had my property somewhere on his lot and that he was going to return it to me. He then accused me of "adding things on" to the lost items. When I confronted him on this and told him to repeat it, he backed down and tried to soft pedal his allegations that I was claiming more things lost than I had told him about. I told him we had a list of the items we advised him were missing, along with notes made the day we advised him of the problem. This angered him and he told me I was a "bad customer" and he would only give me what he was required to under law which was .60 per pound. He got more agitated and told me he was going to just deny my claim. One of the things we are disputing is the payment for the damage to the leather couch. When his workers damaged the couch they immediately admitted that they had done it but they also told us the cost of repair would come out of their pockets. We felt sorry for them and told them to put the couch with the damaged section facing a wall and we would suffer the loss so they didn't get in trouble. Since Mr.Oliver has become so adversarial in his dealing with us we told him that we want to be made whole for the full value of the lost items and the damage to the couch. We contacted the credit card company that we paid the bill with and told them what had happened. They advised that he has already been paid but they could dispute the bill for the amount of loss and damages. The lost items have a replacement value at Home Depot of $364.00 without including the damage to the couch.

When they arrived to deliver the furniture it was raining. We waited until it stopped but rather than move the furniture in they left. It was two days until they returned with my furniture. They insisted on cash when they made the final delivery which I thought was unusual. I sued them and got a judgment for about $1,000.00.

I called several moving companies before deciding on Apache. I chose them because I didn't have a great deal of furniture to move. Most of my belongings were boxed books. When I spoke with them to schedule the move I was told that since I didn't have a full house of furniture, it would be less expensive for me to pay by the hour instead of a lump sum. He estimated that it would take 2.5 to 3 hours to load, transport and unload. This would have made the move less expensive than Apaches base rate and several of the other companies I had checked with. On moving day, 2 men showed up with a bill. When I told them that I was paying by the hour one of the men became belligerent and told me that they "never" charged by the hour. After argueing for a short time , he called the office and I spoke to someone who also informed me that they would "never" give me a quote based on an hourly. He was also quite rude.Unfortunately, since I was like most people in the midst of a move, I was on a tight timeline.  I didn't have the freedom to cancel and reschedule with another company so I wrote the check. By the time they unloaded my belongings, I just wanted them to leave. I found later that the bolts on the bedframe had not been tightened.I was pretty peeved at the entire situation.

I have to completely retracting my review for Apache Moving.  I move a lot and have recommended Apache to 5 friends and co-workers.  In the last year, they have completely gone downhill.

My last move was a disaster, including the owner 'forgetting' the hourly rate that he quoted me, charging me a surcharge on a heavy piece that hadn't required a surcharge the other 2 times they moved it, didn't bring a big enough truck to accommodate my move so they had to take 2 trips, not sending my requested mover (I asked and he still works there - the boss just decided that my request didn't matter).

And lastly, {don't read this if you are squeamish}, one of the movers used my toilet brush as a plunger and instead of throwing it away and letting me know that he had intestinal issues (it happens to anyone) and offering to replace it.  He put it in the holder  with poop on it for me to find when I was cleaning my toilet for the move-out.

My friends also had bad experiences in the last year including surprise charges and a broken table that was taken to be fixed and required 20 phone calls and 3 months to be returned. I've noticed that in the last year, that their trucks are getting in worse and worse condition... the ramps are broken and the trucks are all banged up on the outside because they are hitting objects.  On my next move, I'm going to look at the condition of the trucks for a clue for good movers.

Sorry if you have used Apache as your mover based on my good review -- I am completely retracting it now.  They were good and not they are not.

Wow, these guys were wonderful from start to finish. Incredibly patient and kind when i changed my moving date and time several times and also changed the amount of stuff i needed moved. When I kept calling with changes, i expressed appreciation for their patience and understanding and the response was "don't worry m'am, we do this everyday and know that things change. we provide the best service we can because we know that you can skin a cat, but you only get to do it once." and that sums it up - they treat you right because they know you'll use them again and refer them to others. what great guys. the movers who did the work were a bit late, but were in touch and gave me an accurate estimate for the new time. i understand why they were late as i also underestimated the amount of stuff i had and the my move probably went longer than planned too. it happens and they handled it well. the guys were unbelievably fast - even though it was 100 degrees outside and i was their THIRD move of the day! they were unfailingly polite and professional. careful with my things, and nothing was damaged. I referred them to one of my friends and was at her house when they packed, moved and unpacked her things in the new place. it was a different crew, but they acted with the same care, kindness and professionalism as the guys who moved my things.
can't recommend them highly enough.

We had scheduled a date to move about a month ahead of time. Had a written estimate amd a walk through to go over the itmes that needed to be moved. Three workers fill the truck twice - made two trips to the new address and worked efficiently on a hot day!

Scheduled move at 8am, they showed up at 8:40 with apologies (right after I called the office to inquire where my movers were). It was a difficult move-in with a circular staircase that they had to hand carry 3 very heavy, large items. The two-man team, Adam and Adam (Bubbles), were excellent, professional and super-polite. With movers, in my experience, you get 2 man team consisting of a slacker and a worker but these guys were both workers. They made independent decisions about how to stack my storage area and they did a great job. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat. The only suggestion I would have would be to park the truck in the driveway (only possible in the move-out location). They would have saved a lot of walking/time with the truck closer to the house.

I called Apache to move a few things and I found the price to be great. I didn't really expect nice people for the amount I was spending but all four times they have moved things for me, they were great. Scheduling was amazingly flexible. I will use them any time I need moving help and I will definately recommend them. I found them to be efficient and great to work with.

They are a very professional and they didn't mind me hovering over them. When it was all said and done, they didn't break anything and they even helped me setup all my furniture. I kept their card and definitely plan on using them again.
