Muff-It Muffler & Auto Repair

Not knowing exactly what was wrong, I assumed that there was an exhaust leak in my son's 2005 Chevy pickup. We dropped it off and waited for an estimated. Kevin called back and told me that it was just a broken bolt and he took care of it. I was astonished, an absolute honest repair! I will tell everyone about this business. I HIGHLY recommend them. They have my business from the point forward. Thanks guys!!

I brought my car into Muff-It Muffler because I smelled gas around the outside of my car and had no idea what was wrong.  I have had my vehicle serviced by Muff-It in the passed and they have always taken care of my '03 Hyundai Santa Fe.  I dropped it off in the morning on 8/11/15 and by 12:30pm Kevin was calling me telling me that my car was ready and repair had been completed.  He proceeded to tell me what the problem was, and that it was a simple fix and only took 5 mins. and that I didn't owe them anything!!  All I can say is. that right there speaks volume for an auto repair shop!  I don't know a thing about auto mechanics and in today's world off business' trying to take advantage of the customer....I can tell you  this is not Muff-It!!  I will never take my vehicle to anyone else!  Kevin and his staff have proven to me they are sincere and trustworthy and very experienced!!  Looking for those qualities in your auto mechanic?....then take your vehicle to Muff-It and you will see what professional, experienced, dedication and great customer service is all about! 

I would highly recommend these gentlemen. What a great company. How often will someone fix something simple and not charge you anymore. These guys are great. They explained everything to me and the car runs wonderful again. I would go back again if I ever had something that they could do. I would highly recommend them.

I had taken my vehicle to Christian Brothers a couple of years ago my car was leaking oil really bad and they told me my valve gaskets were leaking and that I needed them replaced.  My car at that time also needed a tune up.  I paid over $4,000 for everything they did!  Just recently I was told, by Christian Brothers that my valve gaskets were leaking a little...I informed them that it had just been two years ago that they had replaced them...the man looked very surprised and checked his computer for verification...I believe he didn't really know what to say, but he was willing to offer me $50.00 off of a $1,000 job (approx)!!  I took estimate and left.  When I took it in to M***-It Muffler, I spoke with Mike who was familiar with my vehicle from doing some previous repairs.  Mike is a great mechanic and explains everything in a way that someone like me can actually understand.  He is very thorough and polite, and will give you a detailed estimate on the work to be done.  I dropped my vehicle off early morning on 4/20/15 and my vehicle was ready about 3:00pm.  In the process of working on my gasket problem Mike called and told me that they had found that my spark plugs needed replacing because they had been shorting out with the added work of replacing the spark plugs I still came out saving way more money than if I had Christian Brothers do the job!   I am so happy that I found M***-It Mufflers and plan on going to them for all my vehicle needs as well as recommending them to my family and friends!!  Thank you M***-It Mufflers and Mike. 

I believed the pulley on my water pump broked and was quoted a preice of several hundered to repair it, I was surprised when only housr after being towed to M*** It they called and said it was ready to be picked up Turns out it was a different pulley and only $70. I am grateful for their honesty as I would have never known since I had authorized a more costly repair. Thanks Harley for being a stand up guy.

The entire repair went well once the technician had evaluated the problem. We were informed what the problem was and what needed to be done to cut out the loud roaring sounds came off the tail pipe when the car was on the road. A secondary exhaust pipe(the pipe before the muffler) was rusted out and needed to be replaced. The charge for the job was quite reasonable. In fact, I was expected to pay more than what was charged. By the way, the shop honors seniors with 5% discount on parts and labor.

In terms of our state inspection my wife's car wouldn't pass the smart test. They did whatever they need to do so that the car would pass the smart test.

They do a good job of just telling us what we need rather than selling what they are selling. My wife drives a 1999 and I drive a 2000 vehicle. We do minimal car maintenance. When we ask them about other things that maybe should not be done, they say we need not do such and such things.
