Brand new system that was not design correctly or put in service correctly. Nothing but problems and they will not stand behind their work. They want more money to fix what they created. Do not recommend them. There is a difference between profit motive and stealing. They have stole money with bad service and warranty work. They refuse to stand behind their work.

The installation took forever. The workers went in and out of the house leaving the doors wide open despite my repeated requests not to because of my cats. After the installation the attic air handler flooded and ruined the Sheetrock upstairs. Then they had to "re-install" the air handler for reasons they refused to disclose! Right now the outside compressor has a coolant leak and for five days it has not been cooling. The system is under warranty. During the day I am told someone will be here to fix it. By evening I call for an update and am given several crazy reasons why the only person who works after hours can't come. This unit was brand new in March and is now broken and they, in effect, refuse to fix it.

They were extremely rude in scheduling the appointment, seeming to hold it against me that I had gotten this deal on Angies List. They scheduled the appointment 5 weeks out, were on time for the appoinment. Looked at my unit and declared it had been installed incorrectly. I had to call the company that installed it out the next day and they showed me that there was an optional way to install it that was recommended for my setup that they had followed. They also showed me the dirt that was still built up in the unit that Maxx A/C had not bothered to clean. Terrible experience, waste of money, will never use again!!!

I'd had problems with my furnace since purchasing my home in 2005 and called upon three separate heating companies to diagnose malfunctions since then. I had the ignitor replace three times and the transformer once. Still, every cold season I experienced problems and this year was the worst. I had a new thermostat installed when I replaced my A/C in 2011 so no one I asked could figure out why the furnace would shut down before reaching the set point. Furthermore, the problem was intermittent. A co-worker recommended Garry and the Angie's List reviews were good so I called him. The day I called, the temperture had been at 69 degress or less inside my home for several days during a cold snap. Garry made the service call and diagnosed the trouble within five minutes. The corroded circuit/logic board was sending false signals to the furnace shutdown system causing it to shut down. We discussed my options and I went for the new furnace. The crew came out that Friday and had the new unit installed in less than 4 hours. They were very careful to protect my floors and they cleaned up completely. I am very pleased with Garry's quick diagnosis and the quality of work. The circuit board did not go bad overnight and should have been identified by previous repairmen from other companies. I was impressed with Garry's troubleshooting skills and would definitely use him again. Also, he offers 12-month interest free financing, which was a great help for my budget.

They were awesome. They gave us a quote. They came in and did the work. Everything went great. They stayed where they were at. We actually got an upgrade because they didn't have the series model of the unit outside so they bumped it up one. Everything went fine. We would absolutely use them again.

After doing extensive research on the internet we decided to call on Max AC. They were the fourth contractor we had contact with. They were prompt and professional. No hard sell just the facts ie. cost, evaluation of existing system, solution scenarios. After we agreed on the work to be done it was performed quickly over a two day period and they cleaned up after them selves. Everyone I talked to was courteous and had answers for my questions.

I called Maxx AC in the afternoon because my AC had stopped cooling, they had a technician to my house to evaluate my AC in less than 2 hours. They tested the unit and went thru it thoroughly and gave me the estimate. I also asked for an estimate for replacement, since the unit is pretty old.
The fan motor was completely out. It was late in the day and they couldn't get parts until the next day, so they offered to locate an old fan at their shop and install it to get me thru a few days so I could evaluate if I wanted to repair or replace the unit I had. They stayed until after 8:00pm getting the estimate and installing the used fan motor so I would have AC that night.
I evaluated their estimates for replacement vs repair and decided to have the unit repaired. They scheduled the repair quickly and performed the work well. I was very happy dealing with the various people at Maxx that I came in contact with and will very likely have them out in a year or so to replace my entire AC system.
