They are booked up and have no appointments. They are very polite and nice and offered to let me bring my cat in without an appointment (which I've done before a couple of times). This time though, they state that I will most likely have to pay an emergency fee for bringing him in without an appointment.
What I liked about them in the past was this offer that you could bring an animal in but what I don't like now
if them offering this option but stating it's subject to an emergency fee.
If seems that when you're successful and get good reviews, unfortunately you get greedy.
Not everyone can afford to pay a $250-350 charge for a pet visit. They did not offer to call me if they had a cancellation. It seems they want to be able to charge an emergency fee for the same offer that they've in the past.
"We are sorry to hear that your experience with us has been less than ideal. We strive to accommodate all our clients and their pets. Unfortunately there are a limited number of "set appointments" each day. We NEVER turn away a pet that needs to be seen for any reason. With that said, the doctors do determine the exam fee based on each individual situation. If your pet does not have a "scheduled" appointment, there is always the possibility that the doctor will charge an emergency exam fee. Our reception staff has been trained to make sure each client is aware of this possibility, but they are never to discourage anyone from bringing their pet in to see us. We would also like to assure you that NONE of our exam fees exceed $100.00. We pride ourselves in treating each client and their pet with the same respect and kindness we would want to be treated with, and our ultimate goal is to provide the care needed at the best price we can. If you would like to discuss this further, we encourage you to contact the office to speak to the manager."
He is outstanding. I do a lot of holistic stuff with my dogs and he is good with listening and talking things over with me and I appreciate that. He is very good.
"Thank you for your review of our practice; it is greatly appreciated. We wanted to let you know that although we do not provide actual grooming, we do provide HydroSurge® bathing services which include a nail trim and anal gland expression. Our rates are reasonable for this service. Please call the office for more details if you are interested, 281-334-2888. Thank you again for your review!"
