The dining area has room for a table and chandelier. It made it to the point where if you were sitting at the chair in the back you would have to go around the family room to get to the kitchen. At this point they had already cut a hole in my newly finished kitchen floor. They couldn?t have matched it either. Lowe?s has done nothing about it, and even suggested getting a new table. We have been going back and forth since the second of December. I thought in order to make things work better I would enlarge and slightly shift the island back. I put another cabinet on the island to make it look better. They got this cabinet for me at cost. After adding and moving the island the light fixture is off. They won?t put a cover over the island. I had and paid for a marble top that they have not installed. They were supposed to come out Monday or Tuesday and have it installed. They stood me up. We called to see what was going on as to why they didn?t show up; they told me they didn?t have paperwork. They now have it, and my husband has made another appointment with them to come out. After moving the island I found out that the people putting the floor in did not put the floor in under the island. Now I have a hole in my floor. Lowes? response was that if I ordered more of my flooring (which I called my supplier, and they let me know they could order me another box) they would install it. My supplier, who was supposed to get me the floor tiles told me that they no longer make that flooring. Lowe?s suggested I go and find something similar which I have been unable to do.
