My dog had a positive heart worm blood test and had to have repeat. During the visit Dr. Huber explained exactly what it would mean if it came back positive and recommended course of action for both a positive or negative result. He was very thorough and supportive. When the test was in fact positive, I expressed some concerns to the nurse; she said she would talk to him and call me back. That evening Dr. Huber called me and spent almost an hour discussing the pros and cons of each of my options. He patiently answered all of my questions and addressed each of my fears in a compassionate way.
Dr, Huber has been our vet for a good many years and I have always been impressed with him and his staff. It is so obvious that they all love animals and just want to do what's in the animals' best interest. I have complete confidence that no matter what the outcome, my dog will have received the best care possible.

Everyone was friendly, polite and professional. The appointments are always walk-in so there is always a wait. My disappointment began as soon as I walked into the building because it reeked of dirty dog, animal feces and urine. The exam room floor was extremely dirty and covered with dog hair. The scale, sides of the exam table and lower portions of the walls were dirty. When the veterinarian walked in he gave my dog at least 4 huge dog biscuits and quot;to make friendsand quot;. My dog is on a strict calorie count because his weight was 5 pounds too high. After that the assistant quickly slipped a 1/4 inch choke leash over my dogs neck and pulled it tight as he asked me to take my leash off of my dog. The assistant then picked my dog up and plopped him on the exam table. My dog had never been frightened during a vet visit before but he was now. I was just startled. My previous vet was so soft spoken, gentle and examined my 50 lb. waist high dog on the floor.
The vet gave good advice, was extremely pleasant and professional and even gave me a free bottle of ear wash. The charge was very reasonable. However, I could never be comfortable with my dogs having any procedure done in such a foul smelling building. I am very disappointed because this clinic is very close to my home.

I've brought my animals to Dr. Huber for many years. He is ALWAYS kind, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. The office staff and techs are also top notch. I highly recommend this clinic.

I had called to schedule an appointment to get my 2 dogs immunized to stay in a kennel. They both had just had their annual checkup and shots given at a different vet (we just moved here from out of state). I took all the records with me and the vet really worked with me. The staff noticed that I had just had them at a vet and only need 1 vaccine for each dog. I didn't want to pay the $60 per pet for an exam, and they understood since it was a quick visit. The vet is super friendly and took great care with my dogs. I paid for the immunization and that was it, which made me really happy! I will definitely be using this veterinarian in the future.

They couldn't provide care as they do not have staff in attendance over the weekend. But the Dr was very, very friendly and helpful and found us care at Bay Area Specialty Clinic. He will be our vet of choice in future.

Dr. Huber treats both of my dogs (a 50 lb pitbull and 6 lb chihuahua) with love and professionalism. I just took in our newest dog for a full workup and he was great as always. He is a straight shooter and will tell you the truth. He is never pushy about selling products. Our pitbull was heart worm positive and he was very helpful through the process. He gave us his home number to call in case of an emergency during treatment. I had to take her in once during her heartworm treatment because she had developed a cough and he didn't charge us for the exam. Dr. Huber is VERY popular and doesn't take appointments for routine visits. I recommend arriving early before they open and waiting.

They are always compassionate, straight forward and reasonably priced. I can't imagine taking our dogs to another Veterinarian.

The tech was not very nice to us or our dog and after my husband explained that you should be nicer when approaching her it worked better and she (our dog) wasn't as nervous. No polite and the coat for the spaying was crazy.

I have been using them for the last 21 years. They are very caring and very attentive. They really take the time with each patient. I would use them in the future.

I have been going to him for 24 years and I think he is a superb doctor. I have taken all of our dogs to him. I will use him again in the future.
