"We apologize for the miscommunication. Our service email system had just been set up and our techs were still getting used to using the tablets. We did receive the email in question after 3 days and I personally called the owner. I had expressed the amount of work we had on our plate, and she had said "when you can get to it". A week and a half later we called and left a message to request an appointment time. No response. We attempted communication to the number she gave us 5 times in a two week period with no response. I apologize once again for the miscommunication and will be issuing a refund for the amount paid since the issue was not followed through on."
I recently purchased my home and found that it was overrun with toxic mold. I have had to tear most of the place back to the studs. It has been a nightmare and costs have been all out of pocket. JR Floyd services was very kind and understanding about my budget restrictions and worked with me to bring the place up to code. In fact, Mr. Floyd was kind enough to provide services to me at a discount. In addition, the technician at the site, was more than willing to help me on random things that I was doing around the house or explain why certain things were done. As a single mother, it is very nice when a person talks to you instead of down to you.
They cut into drywall and the new media cabinet and kept things nice and tidy.
Jeff and his team also has worked on several of my commercial projects. Those projects ranged from very large projects EX: Southside Place Fire Engine Park (all the park lighting, security gate electrical, and tennis court wiring upgrades) and at Pin Oak Middle School score boards, projector and screen installations.
Thank you to JL Floyd Services!
Seems the company should know the code.I am tired been out of my home since 10/02 r
04/19.no stove ,no dishwasher or washer and dryer .I set in limbo scared of contractors ......I pay even before job is done......................even if on your list please check them out very disappointed in results. I am not rich and I pay because of this ordeal I can not help my son finish school.I feel contractor should fix problems and not talk about what a bad job I got. I know this and cost me well over 50,000 and had to start job over The law will change to easy for them to start up then close down when confronted with their mistakes. Wished I would have moved out and moved to another place what I've spent could have purchased another home. I should not battle this every day my God this is .wrong
"We made every effort to satisfy (Member name removed). She had made it very clear that the medication she was on mad it hard to remember. While working with her the job was put on hold per her request so the tile and flooring contactor could do their work. We were at the residence for two days before she had us stop to wait for the tile and carpet. They took two weeks. This is the only reason this had taken so long. I again will apologize to (Member name removed), however it still does not help that she has blamed us for messes left behind by other contractors, and tried to tell us we were lying when I showed her the broken piece of trim laying on the ground that was cut and placed to cover the low voltage wiring for her under counter lights. We pride our selves on completing quality work in the safest standards. We did complete all work listed on the invoice. She had paid us in full. We had another estimate that she wanted to move forward with in replacing her main service. Her electrical service provider scheduled the disconnect for her service for three days later. I had dropped materials off to complete the job on Friday. She called me on Tuesday 1 1/2 weeks after we had finished the other work to tell me I was fired, that we had left a mess and to come pick up our materials. Once a customer has asked us to remove our belongings from their property I have no other option than to do so. I spoke to (Member name removed)three times since the last conversation I had offered to come out and repair the trim or re-route the wiring inside the cabinet to her satisfaction. She refused and said I was just ****ing her around and was just like all the other contractors. I know from experience that there are some bad contractors out there, and there are some people who call them selves contractors. We are a quality contractor that does work for the Coast Guard, Intercontinental, Port of Houston, And have several great reviews elsewhere. When we get dragged into the same category as the less professional it is offensive. If there are any problems with anything we will usually take care of them even if it means loosing the profit on the job or going in the hole. We pride our quality that much. Once again I feel for (Member name removed) and her issues that were not resolved, not form lack on our part I must say. I wish her the best. Sincerely, Jeffrey L. Floyd 832-858-4251"
