Design Concepts By Vendetta

Description of Work: My husband and I have been working with Vendetta, intermittently, for about 2 years to remodel and decorate our house. I cannot say enough good things about Vendetta. My starting point is that I am hopeless at matching colors and getting good results on my own, but I had never been able to find affordable, competent advice. We hired Vendetta, after seeing the wonderful results that she produced for a neighbor, who also works on a limited budget. We have done multiple projects with Vendetta, and our home keeps getting prettier and prettier. Her hourly rates are very reasonable, and she works with us to buy materials from places like Lowe's, and Pro Source, rather than over-priced designer shops. Vendetta also decorates around whatever you already have in the house. Our house, like many, is somewhat mis-matched with lots of furniture and accessories we already own, but Vendetta somehow makes it all looks like it fits. Vendetta also accommodates herself to her clients’ personal style. My décor, for example, is transitional with touches of color in a mostly neutral background, while my neighbor’s decor is more traditional. Some of Vendetta's other client have contemporary or very cutting-edge decor. Vendetta is a word-of-mouth designer. I got her from a friend, who got her from a friend, and I have since recommended Vendetta to another friend who is now using her for add-on projects. We are currently working on our kitchen with Vendetta. She selected the granite for our new counter tops and designed a fabulous backsplash, We are now working on new kitchen lighting fixtures, window treatments and accessories. Our completed projects include 1) New tile floors for our entire living area and kitchen, which used quality clearance tiles from Lowe’s, installed in a pattern with 3 different tile sizes and scattered decos. We cannot believe how great it looks. 2) Complete new interior and exterior paint 3) Re-arranging furniture in several rooms 4) New accessories all over the house, including new bedspreads, bedroom curtains (she sewed one of the sets), several new flower arrangements where Vendetta upgraded existing arrangements, a few brand-new accessories such as throw pillows, re-arranging all of our pictures and re-framing one or two for a better fit, designing 2 photo walls, purchasing a few new pieces of furniture, mostly from affordable online sources, and selecting 3 new area rugs from affordable sources. Vendetta is highly competent, has excellentintegrity and excellent business practices. She treats all of her customers like they are her friends. Unlike many designers, she is very flexible and down-to-earth.
