About us
Bay Area Veterinary Housecalls is a mobile veterinary clinic owned by Dr. Roger Terrel, who has over 28 years of experience practicing veterinary medicine and surgery. We treat pets in their own homes, where they are most comfortable. Treating your pets in your own home or in our state of the art mobile clinic helps make the most of your valuable time by minimizing wait times and eliminating the need to transport your pets to and from a clinic. With housecalls, our pets will also avoid sitting in a waiting room with ill and possibly contagious pets. A single $45 travel charge covers as many pets as you wish us to see on a single visit. Our other fees tend to be lower than standard clinics due to our lower overhead.

"Thanks so much for the positive review [Member Name Removed]. I trust that Gidget is doing well this morning. [Member Information Removed] T"
They are prompt in arriving, and provide us with excellent service. They take the stress from us and put us at ease. We highly recommend them!!
This all changed a few weeks ago. I had noticed that Zorro was not eating, I assumed he was just tired of the cat food, so I started buying different ones to try and interest him into eating again. That was a sign-but at the time I did not see it. I love the animal planet on TV and one of the programs commented that almost all towns had vets that made housecalls. I wish I had know this years before. Zorro needed his nails clipped, his teeth needed attention, and he wasn't eating but he seemed to be healthy. Then I noticed that his sides were swelling so I remembered what I had heard on TV and looked for a vet that made housecall in our area. That's how I met Dr Terrel and Stephanie. What a blessing they were. They came right away and the journey began, trying to save our beloved pet, but because I had waited too long, it was too late. Dr Terrel and Stephanie were there for Zorro and made the end of life care as easy as possible for all of us. He passed away in his favorite place surrounded by the two people that had loved him for all of his sixteen years of life.
Dr Terrel and Stephanie will be a part of our family from now on. I love knowing that when we do get another pet that I have a caring veterinarian that will come to my home and take care of my pets.
I couldn't remember the amount for the last service, which was teeth cleaning. And there was not an option on the form to show that we have been patients of Dr. Terrel for several years.
