Another pool service person from a different company (Gautier Pools, Galveston) failed to fix my pool pump that he himself had sold me three years ago. Gautier was going to and quot;do me a favorand quot; by selling me a replacement pump for $600. I looked for pool repair companies that would come to Galveston Island and had and quot;Aand quot; ratings on Angie's List. I found All About Pools. I called Kyle this morning and he was able to respond with same day service and complete a and quot;simple repairand quot; in less than half an hour. He just saved me $500. Based on his honesty and professionalism, he's now my and quot;go-toand quot; pool guy.

The person I had been using for pool repair was no longer available. I waited a day and a half for his recommended replacement, who never showed up. I called Karl at 7:45 in the morning. The repair was completed less than two hours later. I will definitely call him next time.

It was probably $8000 to $10000. It has been good; it has only been a few months. They were very good and very helpful. They were right up there in pricing. They were very responsive.

I was looking for a pool service company to clean my DE filter. I called the companies listed here on Angie's List and some did not respond and some did. Those that did were not able to schedule me for a couple of weeks. I guess the job was too small and/or I was not looking for monthly service. Then, by chance, when I was refueling my truck, I saw a guy in a company truck from All About Pools. He was enthusiastic about his company, seemed professional, and wanted the work. I called the office the next day and they got me on the schedule. They arrived as scheduled and did the work in a professional manner. I have just called them for another service call and will post a review on that one. So far--so good.
