A Honesty Roofing

After the initial consultation they forgot to send me the estimate until I requested it. We had discussed adding two new bathroom vents and we were told it was not a problem. They were the cheapest bid for the same materials as all the other companies we had spoken with, so we set a date to start the work. On the day of the install no one showed up and I received a call a few hours later stating they did not have a crew and we rescheduled it for a few days later. Again, no one showed up. We rescheduled it a final time and someone finally came to do the install. The crew that came did a good job with the install but the clean-up with the magnetic sweeper was not great. There were nails, roof tiles, and debris that was not hard to see and was left for us to clean. They completed the job rather late and I noticed the next morning that the bathroom vents had not been cut out like discussed. I called and was told that because I never told them where to put the holes they could not do it. I was not aware I was responsible for letting them know where to cut the holes. I was also home all day and no one came to ask me where to cut the holes. They offered to come and cut the holes after they were finished but after taking off three days from work already and the roof was complete I did not want them to tear it up. I got a new roof but I would rather pay more money to have a company that is more responsible and respectful to the customer and their time.

They did a great job. They replaced my back fence and long fence on one side, also 3 gates with short fence facing street. They finished the job very quickly and very professionally. They did a great job on my fence tear down and rebuild. They were working on another project and I asked to get my fence replaced before they left. They not only demoed the existing fence but, Also replaced the fence the same day. I am pleased with my new fence and will hire them in the future to replace my last fence bordering my neighbor. Honestly it was a great job at a fair price

My experience with Honesty Roofing was terrible. One month ago, they changed my right side fence followed by the fence in the back of my yard (two different neighbors). First, they showed up on a Thursday, took down the old right side fence, and disappeared. They left us without a fence until the next Monday with no explanation or reason. Second, when they changed the back fence, they decided, without a good reason, to charge us $28 per linear foot which was a 25% increase from the $22.50 Vance charged my other neighbor and me the day before. Third, when they were pulling out one of the wood posts adjacent to my metal fence, they messed up the metal fence post where the lock is. So the metal fence door does not lock anymore. I texted Vance who came, looked, and did nothing. After that, Vance stopped answering my text messages. Two weeks ago, I caught him talking to one of my neighbors and he promised to send someone to fix my metal fence if it was *that big of a deal for me**. I am still waiting. The wood fence looks okay, they decided not to alternate panels in one section and another section has asymmetric panels which do not look great. I think that one star is quite generous on my part. I would not recommend Honesty Roofing to anybody I appreciate.

Can't say enough about this company. Vance came to my house that I was going to sell and gave me a competitive price to completely re-do the roof. I liked that his guys actually hammer the shingles rather than nail gun them. Everything with the roof went perfectly. The guys contacted me and made sure I knew when they were coming. Finished an 1800 square foot house in a day and a morning. Watched the roof for the next few weeks while we put the house up for sale and not a drop. Now, fast forward a year and a half later, I notice a line of water coming down a vent in my new home. Vance comes out the day I call him. He looks everything over and figures out that the vent has expanded over the last year. He goes up and caulks the vent, comes down, visits with me a little and when I ask him how much I owe, he tells me nothing. I know the guys time is worth a lot, but he left telling me he hopes to see me in 15 years. The guy is still around because he has been around. He tells you like it is and does quality work. I will only use A-honesty roofing for any of my needs...

Vance was very helpful when picking out shingle color to match my brick. His crew was on time and left the house clean after the roof. My roof looks great and was very affordable considering other quotes I received. I have already referred a few friends to Vance for his awesome customer service and prices!

Van and his crew came back to correct the flaws from the first repair. that didn't fix my leak. I contacted him again and they came out and did a more extensive repair. His initial price quote was reasonable so I agreed to let him do the work. After a few weeks they came to do the work. during the process the price went up because he said they would need to purchase additional material. I was not pleased with the additional cost but I agreed to pay it because I wanted my roof repaired and not patched. they completed the work timely. I had to call him once again because a new leak in a different area came. They came out right away to check. due to our schedules and the weather, it took a few weeks but they were finally able to come back to make the repair. New shingles had to be applied in the area. This fixed my leak. Overall I like the company and would use their services again because they did everything they could to fix my issues, however, I would hope it didn't take so many attempts. I also would hope an agreed upon price would stay the same...but I do understand circumstances happen. The only reason I didn't rate a 5 is because it took a very long time to get the situation resolved.

Jeremy went above and beyond to help us out after Hurricane Harvey. He came within an hour after the tankless water heater installer couldn't do his installation due to a leak in our roof. He also repaired other problems in our roof and stopped our gutters from leaking (which we've dealt with for years with other repairmen). We can't say enough about Jeremy and his willingness to help us out during a crazy time.

Good work and very courteous and professional. He has lot of work but he was able to get the work done with a small delay. Timing wasnt a concern for me, so it didnt matter much. Overall A+++ contractor.

Vance and his crew did a great job. Very hard workers. My project was a bit complicated but it turned out great.

Very professional and knowledgeable about roofing and repair issues. Price was also the most competitive out of all estimates received. It was pretty obvious that Vance wasn't trying to take advantage by recommending repairs that were not needed. His 3 year repair warranty was a big plus as well

I found additional work that needed to be done and they did that too. Very knowledgeable and great price. Had to work in bad weather but got the job done. I highly recommend them for any roofing.
