Neighborhood plumbing came out to help with a sink leak, and did an excellent job both explaining everything that needed to be done, and fixing the problem quickly!

The work was great. They did a good job, were always courteous, and were very efficient.

Horrible experience with this company on a tankless water heater. Water heater stopped working correctly. We called Neighborhood Plumbing, they charged us over $200 to work on it, said the problem was air in the lines and it was fixed. That didn't make much sense, but if it was fixed then OK. Worth $200 to have hot water for the dishes. But it was not fixed. Called them back that evening. The guy came back the next day, but spent the whole time on the phone with the manufacturer. He clearly did not know what he was doing on a tankless hot water heater. He charged us another almost $400 for his time talking to the manufacturer and told us that we needed to spend another $750 (on top of the $600 he already charged) to fix it this time (after he said it was fixed the day before). So they wanted over $1350 to fix a unit (that they had said was fixed) that cost less than $1000 one year ago. No longer had any faith in them so called a reputable company recommended by Rinnai. Should have done that in the first place. They needed only 15 minutes to test the unit and recommend not wasting our money trying to fix it. They only charged me to replace it. No call to the manufacturer needed--it was clear he understood tankless hot water heaters, had the right equipment, etc. Neighborhood Plumbing may be OK for regular plumbing, but do not use for a tankless hot water heater.

One toilet stopped worked after 4 days, requiring another visit. The plumber was mad that we did not fix it ourselves. The sink started gushing water about 10 days after the visit. Again, he came to repair it but told me it was out of the goodness of his heart that he was doing this. He seemed extremely put-upon to have to fix these two issues and have work and parts under warranty.

Very impressed - first encounter with Neighborhood Plumbing. Happy with phone interaction (Paul) and availability of crew (Eric and Mike). Happy with the crew's promptness, professionalism, efficiency and quality of work plus reasonable prices. Will definitely use Neighborhood Plumbing again. To set this record straight, this happened eight months ago. The reason this review is so tardy will become obvious. We called Neighborhood Plumbing, they sent a plumber who augered the toilet. That did not work, however in the process, he gouged the toilet bowl enamel. He then said that the problem was probably somewhere in the line and he would need to remove the toilet at a cost of $200 to auger deeper. We said that we were thinking of a new toilet, so we thought we would wait until we had decided on a replacement. (That also had a bearing on our not really caring about the topic let bowl gouges at that time). We have lived with the toilet occasionally not flushing until last month. I mentioned the problem to a friend and that we were looking at a new toilet. He said "have you checked the chain on the flapper to see if it was opening the flapper enough." I did, took a couple lengths out of the chain and voila! The toilet flushes perfectly. We called Neighborhood told them about this and that their plumber gouged the surface of our toilet. We were told the manager would call us. That was last week. No call. Two issues here, a marginally competent plumber and more grievous, blowing off a customer complaint. Now, they will probably respond, offer something, but you know what, that's because they got a bad review, not because they care. If they did, they would have called and I wouldn't be writing this review.

Called at 8 AM Monday morning and they were out here by 11 AM. Allan did a bang up job, explained everything and costed it out before he did it. Plumbing is one of the bigger nightmares so the fact these guys did it so easily makes me feel better about something happening in the future.

The dispatcher forgot to put me on the morning work order, so the plumber arrived late. Other than that, everything went well. The plumber's estimate for the work was reasonably priced so we proceeded with the repairs. He did the work quickly and took the time to answer all my questions about both device function and town regulations. He measured and adjusted the water pressure on the house side of the RPZ after installation and cleaned the yard where he'd been working.
I also asked him about an old back flow protection device on my sprinkler system. He said it was working fine and recommended against replacing it until if fails. That was actually a test to see if he'd try to perform unnecessary work. He passed with an and quot;Aand quot;. I'll use him again.

I have used Neighborhood Plumbing for my rental business over 10 times the last few years. They show up on time and do quality work. I use them for my hard to do problems like a water leak to the house under the drive. No visible wet spot was detected. They were able to pin point the leak with there equipment and dig in from the side of the driveway which out causing much damage.

Very professional, knowledgeable and I would definitely use them again. It is hard to get people to come out as far as we are and they had no reservations doing it and did not charge an additional travel charge.

We have used them before and they are our regulars now. They are not cheap but they are good. They provide good communication and they are friendly. We've used cheaper people and the repairs didn't last. These people get it done right. We feel comfortable with them. They are responsive.

Great. Paul's a good communicator, answers questions well, and gives good advice. You can find cheaper plumbers, but you'll just have to hire a good plumber to do the cheap work over again.

The job went well, once the right man for the job was located. The plumbing crew worked late to finish the job. They came back without complaint when we said there was still gas smell in the house and re-checked all their work. The final leak was finally located by an AC/Heating firm in the gas furnace itself (this reviewed separately)
