Five Star Remodeling

Here’s a kitchen reno by Mike Fennell with 5 star remodeling! We paid him quite a bit of money and told him he owes us as we now have to find someone to redo this mess! See photos! • Started kitchen reno the very beginning of February (pics are from today 5/10) • Never had anyone consistently show up to work on the kitchen • He hired tile subs, whom he never supervised. They cut their hand and bled over the tile, sealed it and Mike never came to look at it, but shared over the phone he could scrub it out and make it look right. • Same tile subs let a water line from the fridge leak onto the floor for a day. We had to hire a restoration company to dry out walls/floor - Mike came out two days later to say that was over kill and he could’ve fixed it - 2 days after the fact! • Crown molding upside down! • Cabinets frame cut outs aren’t even • Gaps between cabinet frames • Notice no drilled holes for shelves • No cabinet doors/drawers despite him working on them for weeks • Cut out for stove top electrical is too large • The list goes on…

Mike at Five Star dealt with us honestly and responsibly. Before any work began he sent us itemized estimates for each of the three jobs. All were fair. He arrived on time, cleaned up after the jobs were done, and kept us posted about the work in progress. His communication with us was excellent. All work was completed in a professional and timely manner. We highly recommend Five Star Remodeling. In fact, we have him scheduled in two weeks for a more extensive job involving chimney repair.

They always did an exceptional job. They were very reliable and trustworthy. He was always punctual. He was always there when he said he would be.

Mike did a great job. He communicated and showed up when he said he would. He gave a reasonable estimate and when the job was a little more complicated than he had anticipated, he did not ask for more money.
