they were fine until any problem arose after they received payment. Had to call several times for leakage that occurred after roof was replaced (within a month). Project manager was "transferred" and impossible to get hold of. Their cleanup was a joke. When I complained was told they'd be back. Never happened. Final straw today, I called since home is being sold and due to previous problems and needed inspection for sale and was rudely. Told they won't help. I was willing to let a few things slide but not anymore. DO NOT USE,

The roof was completely destroyed. The insurance adjuster estimated the repair at $7,400 so that's what they charged. The type of shingle they put on is part fiberglass and part asphalt. It's guaranteed against Class A fires. It's energy efficient. They guarantee the shingles for 35 years. It is a written guarantee. The company that manufactures the shingles is Owen Corningware and its personally guaranteed from them. The labor is guaranteed for 2 years.
The garage is very hot in the summer. He put in 2 "boxes" to allow the heat to escape. He skimmed things out so there was more ventilation. He also added a wind vane to help with the ventilation. This was at no extra charge. He also did some chimney repair for us.
They used the type of sealant for ice, snow and water like they use back east in Chicago. When he rolled it out it sucked right up to the wood and sealed it.
He took the roof all the way down to the wood before he laid the new felt. I was impressed that he showed me what he was doing every step of the way. We loved the color we picked out. So did our neighbors because 5 other houses have since hired him to do the same work using the same color & type of shingles.
They started at 7 a.m. and finished at 12:30 p.m. He had a crew of 7 people. They definitely work well as a team. There was a supervisor on the job at all times and the other supervisor stopped in several times during the job. I really liked that. He left me 2 full packets of roofing tiles to keep in my garage in case something comes along I will have replacement shingles to match.
I also liked that they didn't want any money up front. They completed the job to my satisfaction before accepting any money. About a week and half later the area manager stopped by to make sure I was still happy with the job.
They cleaned up everything after they were done. They ran a push magnet around the house 3 times to make sure they got all of the nails. Not just in the yard but also in the driveway and down into the street to make sure there weren't any nails.
