Lantz's Lakeside Plumbing

We have been working with Lantz’s since we moved to Lago Vista nearly 7 years ago. We call them exclusively for AC and plumbing needs and they are always on time, knowledgeable, friendly and most importantly - customer oriented. I cannot say enough good things about every technician who has been to our house (probably everyone who works there). If you live in their service area I highly recommend their membership package. You won’t be disappointed!

Tim arrived ahead of time, but discovered that the original anode rod was harder to remove than anticipated. He needed a part for his impact driver, so after going and getting the part he returned and completed the job with not further complications. I always call Lantz's Lakeside Plumbing, and they've never let me down. They are quick to respond to calls and always friendly and personable. Great to have reliable local plumbers here in Lago Vista.

I called on Wednesday morning, and Josh came out and inspected the grinder pump and identified the problem. The next morning Chris came and replaced the floats and cleaned the tank. He did a good job, very neat installation, then checked that everything was working properly. I've been using Lantz's Lakeside Plumbing for the last four years, and they are very reliable, prompt, and do very professional work. They make it a principle not to do unnecessary work, so I trust their judgment and rely on them for all my plumbing needs.

They were able to come out the same day even called me 30 min prior so that I could be sure to be at home. Chris was very professional and got the problem fixed in no time at all. Very Pleased!

The guy was able to fix everything within two hours.? So the party started and everything was done before the party.? They were great and they followed up on Monday to make sure that everything was taken care of.?? I will recommend them to anybody.

They performed the work around 9/9/2014.  They were prompt, polite, and gave us options for the repair.  In the end we spent $4000 for the repair (replaced everything except the cistern).
Unfortunately some home irrigation/sprinkler pipe got damaged  and I didn't realize it until 7/19/2015 (system had been winterized and powered down due to the drought and water restrictions).
I have a geyser from exactly where they trenched and will not fix the damage... cant even get them to look at it.
Because of their good Angie's list rating it didn't occur to me at the time that I'd need to verify other systems at our property still worked when they were done with their repairs... my assumption being that I was using the best local option.

He was asked if he could install new shower fixtures.  He took a brief glance and said it would be an 8-hour job.  We ended up calling another plumber who did the job in under two hours.
We knew there would be an additional cost after the two-hour service.  That said, the plumber did not seem to want to do more than two-hours of labor.  He was professional.  He did only the bare-minimum, though.  I will not use the service again.

I was most pleased by the prompt service. I was only without water for a few hours. I asked them to come back and install a pressure reduction valve, which they did two days later. The valve was an additional job and an additional charge, about $275. This is the second time I've used Lantz's Lakeside Plumbing, and on every occasion Jacob Lantz has been prompt to return my calls and he and his men have always showed up on time and done an excellent job, including cleaning up afterwards. I now consider Lantz's Lakeside Plumbing to be the first place I go for any plumbing needs I can't handle myself. They do excellent work for what I would consider a fair price.

The company got a lot of response to their big deal, but they were still able to schedule service within three days of my purchase. They could not come the first time I was scheduled, but they called well in advance and immediately scheduled a time for the next day. The plumber called in advance as promised and arrived within the time frame I was given. He knew what he was doing and thoroughly and professionally cleaned out both drains. He checked them to ensure the clogs had been removed and cleaned up after himself in a professional manner. He did not leave any trash or dirt around the drain cleaning area. He answered all my questions. He also adjusted a problem with one of the toilets that didn't flush properly. This was everything I asked him to do. The price of the big deal was reasonable for plumbing services done by the hour. Their hourly rate was also reasonable. I would use this provider again.

Todd showed up early and got right to work. I asked him to check our gas grill since we haven't used it since moving into our new home and put a regulator on our pool heater as asked by our pool guy. Todd was very polite and professional and took care of my grill above and beyond my request. He made sure I knew what was working, the gas line and burners, and what wasn't, the igniter. He even showed me how to use it. 
He looked at my pool heater and stated that he would need to go purchase a regulator. I was confused because when I scheduled the appointment, I specifically told them that I needed a regulator on a gas line to a pool heater and how it needed to be set. I was charged for the extra time that it took Todd to drive into Austin, purchase the product and return to home. Todd even told me that he was surprised that he was stuck in traffic on his way to the plumbing supplies. I don't like having to pay an extra $100 because they didn't bring the needed supplies when they were told ahead of time what was needed.
Todd installed the regulator and even sealed a few joints (or something like that, he explained it to me, but I have no idea what it was). He did a great job according to my pool guy.  But the gas was left turned off to the heater, so when I tried to turn on the heater, it didn't work. I then called my pool guy who charged me $95 for a 10 minute visit to turn it on.
I purchased this service as an Angie's list service, so I know that they were working for less than the normal hourly rate for two of the three hours, so I got a good price in general. The pool man says that the regulator installation was good and my husband is pleased with the job, but I am not pleased that I was charged an extra hour when they knew what I needed before they arrived but didn't have the supplies. I am annoyed by the gas being left off and having to pay the pool guy to turn it back on, but I am willing to give Todd the benefit of the doubt since he was not wanting to mess around with another professional's area outside of his own expertise. But ultimately, this cost me $200 more than it ultimately should have which was kind of a bummer.

Excellent service. Took approximately 2 hours from the time I called to being up-and-running again.The pump was repaired on-site. I was impressed by the work ethic and professionalism of the guys who did the work. Will definitely use Lantz's again.

This guys are great. My grinder pump was not running and I discovered it on Friday afternoon when almost all plumbers are either closed or totally booked for the day. I then called Lantz's plumbing and Jacob responded quickly. He made a schedule for Saturday and their technician diagnosed the issue right away. It was a bad alarm panel. Then on Monday they sent the other company to clean the tank and by late afternoon my system is all good and running. I really appreciate their quick response and technical ability in diagnosing the issue. All of their technicians are very professional and user friendly. They also explained in details on how this pump works and how to troubleshoot minor things. Their price is also reasonable. I would definitely use them in future for any plumbing issue.

The repairman was on time and very nice. Explained what needed to be done and told me they would need to order the part and come back to fix it. Had the office call and set up the next appointment with me. Second appointment, again on time and very nice. Got everything fixed up and back to working order.

I was impressed that Jacob Lantz came out within a couple of hours after I called to look at my grinder pump. He checked it out, determined what was wrong, and showed me the various issues he found with the pump system. It seemed likely that the pump had not been functioning properly for a while, short cycling, not draining the tank and shutting off to quickly. There was also an issue with build up of solid sediment in the tank. Jacob Lantz offered to replace the floats, but noted that while the pump was still working, it was old might also require replacement soon. Rather than opt for a repair of an aging system, I chose a complete replacement and upgrade. 
Lantz and two of his crew came back the next morning and removed the old pump and control box, cleaned out the tank, and installed a new system in a little over three hours. They did an excellent job. Jacob Lantz explained what they were doing, and showed me all the features of the new system. I was very impressed with the promptness and efficiency and professionalism of Lantz and his crew. When the job was complete, they cleaned everything up and left the site just as they found it. The cost of the job was exactly what Lantz quoted, which seemed a fair price for installing a new pump, floats, and all new electronics and control box.
I would definitely recommend anyone who needs a plumber in the Lake Travis area, especially the north shore, to give them a call.
