Texas Door Pros

I had used Texas Door Pros to refurbish my front doors and I was so happy with their work that I decided to let them replace my back door. My old back door was an inexpensive metal front door with an oval shaped stained glass insert that was used for a back door. The interior trim didn't match the existing trim in the house and the exterior color of the back door was pink. It screamed and quot;ugly 80'sand quot;and stood out like a sore thumb. Texas Door Pros suggested a full view fiberglass Therma-Tru door that would allow more light into the sun room as well as protect the furnishings due to it's UV protection. I didn't want the inserted blinds because there is a patio off the sun room so my privacy was not a real issue. I also wanted a multi-point locking system which they were able to provide. I had had a similar door at my previous home and my little rescue terrier and quot;Daisyand quot; loved it because she could look outside due to the full-view.

The installation took one day and they came with the door already primed. They took out the old door and jamb, installed the new door, new jamb, and new threshold. They installed the multi-point lockset and didn't even disturb the exterior trim. They replaced the interior trim with new trim that matched the rest of the home and then painted the inside door and trim to match the interior trim color. They installed the weather-stripping and I am now in much better shape than I was with my old door. I am waiting to paint the exterior of the door because I have not picked my exterior colors yet. I am having new siding installed soon and I will have it painted to match the new siding. Texas Door Pros left it primed so I am in very good shape.

Texas Door Pros removed six inset panels (three were stained glass and three were raised panel wood) in my front doors and replaced them with solid mahogany panels to match the existing wood. They stripped and stained the interior and exterior doors and stained them a darker color (warm walnut). The transformation is amazing! The old doors were 1980's cheesy looking (rose colored stained glass) with a high gloss golden oak finish and now the doors look elegant and fit the style of my home. They also replaced the weather-stripping so that I no longer see light through the middle of the double doors and I am buttoned up more securely. The owner is a true craftsman who takes pride in his work. They did an outstanding job and I am extremely pleased with the finished product.
