This time the tech came in & within 20 minutes tells us our furnace is shot. That we needed to replace it for $4500 & we should also replace the A/C system for a total of $15K. Guess since we had had him the replace the U/V light without any questions the last visit ($1700), had him replace a condenser on the compressor the visit before w/out questions, & had his predecessor redo wiring from outside wall to compressor, ($2k), that we would buy a new system without any questions. WRONG! We got 2nd opinions from 2 other firms & were told our system had no major issues. This tech was just trying to “shake us down”. Even though we have an annual contract with this company, we will never use them again.
