It is beautiful. Mr. Munoz is very flexible, a fantastic artisan and is fair in his prices. Very reliable and easy to work with.

Great work for a fare price.

We wanted an enclosed, large patio/catio for out cats constructed with a decorative metal frame and wood slats and a unique gate that incorporated an outline of a tree, cut from sheet metal. Fernando was incredibly patient while I customized and tweaked the catio/patio design. He is very creative and thus was able to provide suggestions and feedback. Although there were delays on my end, Fernando was quite tolerant and waited until I got things lined up. He was willing to source materials to keep the job affordable. Fernando is very professional and meticulous and he did a fantastic job. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

GREAT! Fernando responded quickly to my request for bid. He came to my home took the necessary measurements and gave me a bid on the spot. Later the same day Fernando sent me a picture of my completed railing and we set up a time to install. The time from bid approval to completed job was less than 24 hours. The quality is top-notch and it is exactly what we wanted. Thank you Fernando and team.

It was fantastic. Fernando, first he was extremely thorough. He was welding steel between two concrete planters, he had to make it exact and he was very careful to make it as straight, square and sturdy as possible. This is also something that you walk on so I was very concerned and he did an amazing job. He painted it beforehand so there wouldn't be any rusting. I would have him back for any welding work I needed. Our builder was trying for 6 months to find someone to do this job because it was complicated, but Fernando took it head-on and did an amazing job. He also worked to make it as affordable as possible - recommending alternative materials, etc. A wonderful job.

Iron Works was on-time, performed work while I was away as requested, did a fabulous job and the final cost was under the original estimate. An original estimate that was lower then two other companies I had come out.

Fernando did a good job and I would recommend him.  He was a bit slow in showing up over a few weeks, but it was the Xmas holidays and New Year, and he did say he was busy, but in the end he pulled through and got the railings installed in a reasonable amount of time.  I was happy with the job he did.   The price of the work wasn't cheap, but wasn't overly expensive compared to others.

He was able to come to our house within 3 hours of my call, which was a delight. He arrived when he said he would and repaired the RV frame with quality work and professional demeanor.

WOW!!! Fernando is a fine craftsman with an exacting eye for detail. AND he personally answered all phone calls and texts, arrived promptly for appointments and communicated well. The rails are sturdily attached to a newly built exterior Brazilian hardwood landing and staircase. Their scale and proportion are in perfect harmony with the design of my house. Fernando's team showed up promptly at 9 am as agreed. They communicated the details of the work which included cutting and digging out the old post, detaching the hinges to the gate. They cemented in the new post, welded the post to the fence, replaced the hinges to gate while making  sure the fence and the gate were level at each step. Last, they painted the welded areas to match the fence and gate. They were extremely professional and courteous.

Work is very nice.  I will use Fernando again in the future.

We had a bit of a rocky start when I left a couple of voicemails that were not returned. I sent a message to Fernando via Angie's List and he responded almost immediately. To be fair, my initial attempts to contact him were around December 20th, so it was close to the holidays, but I still thought I would have received some sort of reply, even if it were just a message that he was closed for the holidays.
When he finally contacted me it was clear that he knew exactly what he was doing. He didn't even need to stop by to look at the area in person - I sent him photos of the gate I wanted (to match the other gates on our property), as well as a photo of the area in which I wanted the gate installed. I measured the area for him and told him the measurements. He then gave me an estimate and fabricated the gate in his shop over the next few days. It wasn't going to be exactly the same gate that I already have installed, but the naked eye can't tell, and he offered me a more economical option because he already had the materials in his shop and wouldn't have to special order anything (the only differences were the thickness of the individual rods of iron and the type of latch). He sent me a photo via text - it looked good and I was pleased. That was on a Friday. He indicated in a text that he'd call me to see if he could install the gate on Sunday or the next week.
A week went by and I was busy with work but kept thinking that I should call to check on the gate. Finally heard from him on Friday by text - he was out of town for a funeral. Of course that's understandable. He said he would contact me when he returned to town.
He then called me a week later and said that he was back in town - this was on Saturday, January 25. He said he could install the gate the very next day. He and his team came midday and the gate was installed and working great in a couple of hours.
I would definitely hire Fernando again, especially now that I know what to expect - he knows what he is doing, and he's very busy. He tends to communicate very quickly in phone calls and texts - no written estimate, but the cost was exactly what he had quoted me over the phone. He will get the job done, but sometimes you have to be a little patient for him to get back to you. If you need a job done very quickly, you will probably need to communicate that to him up front and be a little more persistent than I was in contacting him. He's truly an expert in what he does. I am very happy with the gate.

Quality of materials was superior, craftsmanship was good as well. Performed work exactly as he had described it.

He gave me an estimate between $800 and $1000 depending on how much he had to use and when he was done he said it was $800.  I don't think that ever happens!

I provided Fernandez photos of the steps that needed handrails along with examples of existing rails on the home so that he could get an idea of what we had in mind.  We wanted to match the style of the scroll pattern of the rails along the porch in the back of the house.  I also provided rough measurements. Based on the photos he said that he could perform the work and came out to my house in Marble Falls and made more detailed measurements to provide me a quote.  He had to special order pieces and prefabricate most of the railings and the gate.  When those where finished he and his workers came back out and installed everything and did a great job of cleaning up afterward.  My husband and I are extremely pleased with the result!  He does beautiful work and he and his team are very professional.

It was a pleasure to meet Fernando and do business with him. My husband removed the old railings a couple of weeks before the new one was installed. We also had to remove some old oak trim and have it replaced before the new railing was installed. This all needed to be done for a very quick turn around before Thanksgiving because we were having a big family dinner at our house. Fernando understood that we needed everything quickly and was able to design a beautiful railing on the spot that matched our front door. He truly has an artistic eye and execution. His price was really reasonable for custom ironwork. He even agreed to install the railing two days later on the Sunday before Thanksgiving. When he arrived, the railing didn't quite fit so he had to take it back to his shop and resize it. He still managed to correct the size and have it installed the day before Thanksgiving. He brought his children with him, and they are all very polite and great helpers to their father. It was a pleasure to meet his family. I would definitely use him again. I've been working on designs for some outdoor projects that would be enhanced by his iron designs.

Fernando was able to visit our home very quickly after my initial call.  He recommended sawing the existing railing sections off of the rusted posts, fabricating new posts, welding the sections to the new posts and bolting the new posts to the deck surface.  I liked his approach better than that of another welder who recommended just sawing off the bottoms of the posts and welding/grinding on new post bottoms -- and who quoted a higher cost as well.
Fernando took measurements on his initial visit, I gave him the go-ahead 2 days later, and he was ready the following weekend with the very nicely made new posts already fabricated.  Including one made of heavier gauge metal to support the gate -- which was his initiative and indicative of the commitment he has to quality.
Installation was mostly done that Sunday, with final work done Monday morning.  Overall quality of the result is very good. 
I knocked him down to a B on Professionalism only because he included family members in the Sunday work and one of them caused a problem by knocking their electrical connection box into the (full) pool) [it took me a week to find the circuit breaker that got blown in the house as a result] and carelessly cutting a groove in the top of one railing, and the "thinness" of tools he brought:  no ladder of his own; when the band saw blade broke he had no spare, so the remaining demolition had to be performed with a grinder.
Overall I would unhesitatingly use Munoz again for any type of iron work.  The man knows what quality is and he is happy to expend the effort to deliver it -- at a very reasonable price.

I am a general contractor so I deal with a lot of contractors.  I loved working with Fernando. 
My wife and I designed an expansion of our 2nd story balcony to fully cover our new outdoor kitchen and dining area.  It was about 600 sf of new second story deck area, as well as 100 sf existing, that needed to be wrapped with strong wrought iron fencing .  Fernando had to match our existing railings, deal with a 15' radius hanging out over our pool on an unfinished roof and contend with my little, "runner" dog.  He did a fantastic job and I look forward to working with him in the future.  I wish I could add a picture to this review, as my words do his work no justice. 
Use him...it's a great family business (2nd generation I think) run by a family man!

He shows up on time, takes detailed notes and measurements and ask all necessary questions.  He then provides a price quote -which he has always honored fairly, even with change-orders the price is always in-line with the original quote.  If scope is lowered slightly he lowers the price accordingly -all too rare!.  He completes the work in his shop which is great for crowded job sites or live-in remodels.  He also provides custom paint jobs on request and this is a great option. No fumes on site, no chance of someone damaging the paint before it dries etc.  If needed he will send progress reports and photos of the railing to make sure it is correct and their is no mis-communication.  Install is on time, and he is flexible and accommodating.

They were excellent, had the best price, I give them the highest ratings, and will continue to use them in the future if needed.
