My bathroom wall-mounted light had been working erratically. I had tried different bulbs, but that did not correct problem, so I called Mullen electric (recommended by a friend). They told me they were all booked up that week. Since the problem was not an emergency,  I arranged an appointment for early the next week. The electrician arrived within the expected window of time, examined the switch and fixture (possibly other things), and showed me the problem with the fixture. He asked whether I would prefer to buy a new fixture myself or have him go buy one. I asked where he would go -- he named the place, adding that it was the closest. It indeed was where I would go, so I asked him to go, since he would probably know better than I what was appropriate. He went and returned promptly with the new fixture, installed it, and showed me that it was working. He charged $92 for the labor and price of the fixture combined, which seemed very reasonable to me. The whole thing took less than an hour. The light has worked fine ever since.
Since I could not get an appointment quickly, this company would not be suitable if you have a situation that needs service right away. However, if the need is not immediate, I recommend them for the quality of service and reasonable price.

He is very good; he is excellent. He was very fair priced. However, it is difficult to get him to come over and get things done. It is almost impossible to get him. If you can get him, he is really good. The last time I wanted to use him, I called him and he didn?t call me back. He didn?t respond at all. Finally, I had to hire somebody else. I am sure he is just very busy. During the remodeling process, he came 3-4 times. I like him because he does quality work. He knows what he is doing. If you get him to make an appointment, he?ll show up and will do a great job. I?d certainly recommend him.
