We asked for a complete tear-off of the roof and instead he put another roof over the top of the roof. He removed the eaves from and there were holes in the roof and my entire den was saturated with water. The bathroom didn't get done. He destroyed the house. He was supposed to re-level the kitchen floor and lay ceramic tile on the floor and up the wall 50 inches. The floor is not level, the tile is cracking. There was grout on the tile. He didn't seal the grout. He is a very charming person, but under no circumstance should anyone ever use this contractor. We were looking for a good job for a fair price. There was no craftsmanship in this job at all. We stayed at an Extended Stay for three weeks for them to clean up the mess and they weren't even on the job very often when we checked on them.
Description of Work: Re-roof, including re-angling and extending the roof, vault the den ceiling, install windows, rewire the entire house, increasing the service from 125 amp to 200 amp so it could handle central heating & air. Also added a deck that he had to redo 3 times, although its falling apart now. The rail broke when I was taking in groceries and I was bruised from falling.
