David had a couple of ideas to check upon first conversation. He arrived at the house when he said he would, and gave an estimate of the work needed. David was able to replace the pressure reducing valve in my front yard during the time he said he would. The price was the estimate as well. No shocks or bad surprises! :-)

David showed up on time, and completed the job as expected. He is a Master Plumber. He explained every step of the process, and answered all my questions. My water heater is in the attic, and he handled it's replacement without any issues. His pricing was competitive with other quotes, and he had no issues with me upgrading the unit to a 50 gallon unit with a 10 year warranty.

While attempting to replace a broken hose bib on the exterior of my house, a piece of the copper water line that protrudes from the house broke off.  Since I've not yet learned how to solder pipe joints, I needed a plumber to come fix it.    It was only mid-morning at that point so I was hopeful I could find someone to come out the same day because I couldn't turn my water back on before the pipe was repaired.  I looked for plumbers who were close to me thinking they'd more likely be able to get to me quicker.  The first 4 plumbers I called were so busy they said it would take several days to get to me.  Yikes!  I was about to give up on finding a plumber and figured I might need to teach myself how to solder the joint so I could repair it myself, or else go without water for days while waiting on a plumber.  Instead I made one more attempt and called Clear and Present Plumbing.  David answered the phone and when I explained my predicament, he said he could come out that afternoon.  Yay!  He said he had one other job to do which would take a few hours and he'd call me when he was on his way to me.  As it turned out, he was at my house in less than 2 hours. The repair took a little less than an hour to complete.  David was very courteous and easy to talk to.    I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
