Went great.
Would use him again.
Was very patient with us setting up a time to meet. We had to cancel three times due to appliances not delivered  and granite not installed.
Very friendly. Even my dogs liked him.

Mr. Patee was prompt and professional but very personable. He worked quickly and did a fantastic job cleaning up after himself. He is now my handy-man until he retires.

George was very professional and quick. Came out on a Monday night to give a bid on a glass door I needed to replace and was able to come back and install the door on Thursday!!! I would use George again!!

George was great and everything went well. There were a couple of minor glitches but none were his fault, it was mostly things like my having the wrong tool to spread floor glue and not having quite enough flooring and not knowing I needed a floor roller. George patiently went to the home supply store to get what was needed and rent the roller. The floor looks great! The other things I asked him to do were pretty easy projects as the lighting and wiring were all in place so it was just a matter of taking down the old lights and replacing them. The same was true for the ceiling fans, the rooms were pre-wired so all he had to do was remove the old light fixtures and install the fans. The bars in the bathroom took a little longer than he planned, but that was because the tile is so hard that it took him a while to drill the holes.

All in all, George did a great job and was very professional. After reading the two previous reviews for him I was a little concerned that my jobs would be too small and minor, but that wasn't the case at all. Since I have no family member that I can call on for any and quot;honey doand quot; projects, I really needed someone that would be available for such things. I will certainly be calling on George again as I find other projects I need done. I know he will do a good job no matter what projects I need done.

excellent. I had the job started within 48 hours and completed two days later. it was done properly and within budget. I couldn't be happier.

Work in the shower appears to be satisfactory. We appreciated George's ability to improvise when it appeared that the space would need a custom installation. The faucet on the back porch--we have had three people try and fail to fix it, but George kept working on it long after the time we agreed he would spend to fix it. He was finally able to rig a solution, but due to a miscommunication between George and the tenants and myself, the final part wasn't acquired for the faucet for a week and a half. George lives something like a hundred miles away so I wouldn't expect him to come back to town just for one part, but I wish I had known and could have sent it along to the tenants sooner. I think George just assumed they could pick it up at a hardware store, bless him. I never get the right thing when I go to a hardware store and I'm sure the tenants are the same, but my husband was able to pick it up and now the faucet works just fine.

He did an excellent job, quoted the job, started on time and finished on time with beautiful work.

I have known George Patee personally and worked with him since I was a teenager here in Denton, Texas in the 1970's. For nearly half a century George Patee has been my and quot;Go-To-Guyand quot; on several projects. I've seen him build a house from the ground up, so he knows everything about construction, both residential AND commercial. He was trained in carpentry in college in Oklahoma, (but I don't hold that against him). In fact, I worked with George building several of the buildings that were destroyed at Selwyn School fire and have seen him since go back to help in the aftermath and recovery efforts. He has come to my aid on many occasions building barns and mending fences, but hist true talent lies in his dependability. Let me put it to you this way: people ask me why I call him, and quot;Colonel Pateeand quot;. It is because he has and quot;Drilledand quot; it into me- and quot;Reid, Do it the Right way or Hit the *@#$ Highwayand quot;. So just stay out of HIS way - George Patee WILL make it Happen !

Through it all, George maintained his professionalism and the end result was a beautiful bathroom with a new tub, plumbing connections, wall tile, and flooring. The clapboard exterior showed no sign of the damage that it had sustained. The job required many skills due to the unusual damage: carpentry, some minor electrical, tile - both floor and wall, plumbing, drywall, texturing, painting, - and maintaining a good relationship with the tenants through the entire process. George handled it all calmly and turned out an excellent product which made everyone happy.

The work he does is excellent and I have never been disappointed in his work. He is very creative and makes sure to use all of the materials before throwing any out. He built a shed for me as well that I would use as a tornado shelter it is so sturdy. He has had a lifetime in construction and is very knowledgable. He takes his time with the work but makes sure that it is done to best of his ability and always makes sure the work is done right. Overall a great experience!
