Beyond Blue Pools

I want to share the terrible experience I have had with your Beyond Blue Pools. I am currently working with Tristan Francis who has been a horrible coordinator. When we met on the site as they were finishing up the travertine on the back wall of the swimming pool, we asked him if the back portion would also have the travertine and he said, “Yes, it will go all around”. A couple days later I asked him if his team would be back to finish the back portion of the wall and he said, “No, the back doesn’t have travertine, there must have been a misunderstanding”. The entire team must have been subcontracted and there was no supervision through out the process which made me feel uneasy. There has been dirt and debris on the sidewalk and street for months now, and I’ve asked him if he could have his crew clean it up for some time now. There were big holes right next to the sidewalk exposed for weeks at a time and they were not covered or taped off for pedestrians. The water, gas, and electricity lines were all uneven and I had to tell him several times before the concrete decking was poured. There was electrical line that was cut and I had to bring that to his attention several times. The pool hand rail is wobbly and not secure and when I told him about it, he told me I needed to screw it in properly instead of having someone check it out. The most infuriating issue is the pool texture, I told Tristan it was too rough once it was applied. He said it would be smooth once it was acid washed. After it was acid washed it was still really rough and I informed him of this and that they were filling up the pool with water. He said it would smooth out once filled and that we would need to brush the pool twice a day for a month. The texture is still really rough like sand paper and he said there’s nothing they can do.

The pool tech. went about a month without cleaning the pump filter basket and our pool pump was destroyed. When confronted about it we were told that cleaning the filter basket was not in there scope of work. Once again we asked why we received a service report every week stating that the pump filter basket was cleaned they completely dodged the question and we haven't heard from them since.

We had some real challenges with the weather that we had to work through. Beyond Blue were on time and professional. Pool looks great! Highly recommended and great priced.

We have been pleased with Beyond Blue Pools for about 8 months now. The pricing has been very fair. Communication has been good and we have never been missed for service much lke our previous companies. We have had a few different cleaners but they have all been respectful.

There are a lot of pool services in our area, but I am a happy customer of Beyond Blue. (Nearly a year now.) Our pool is always taken care of and our pool technician who is professional, through, complete and always does all that is needed to keep our pool clean and clear. After each visit I am sent via email a detailed report on my chemistry and what chemicals, if any, were added and a picture of the serviced pool. They are dedicated to their customers and service. I cannot recommend BBP more highly. You will not be disappointed.

Great experience with the company. We did a remodel and also stayed on for cleaning as I didn't want to deal with it anymore. Communication has been great and happy with the service. Well priced.

We spent probably 3 months deciding what we wanted to do with our swimming pool. From redoing all of it to just selling the house. We ended up deciding to go with Beyond Blue Pools for our remodel when it was all said in done. They had a fair price and were very responsive. They always followed up with us a long the way. The project took 4 weeks to complete as I didn't realize how much actually went into the process. Everyone was moderately punctual on the days they said they would come and any concerns or issues we had were quickly addressed. We are very pleased with the outcome and for the price we paid, feel we got exceptional value. Thanks for all the hard work!

Customer Service Is Excellent - We recently bought a new house in the woodlands and it had a pool that looks like the previous owner never put any money into. We had them redo just about everything. They finished ahead of schedule and didn't have any hickups. I highly recommend this company to anyone wanting a positive experience with pool updates.

Signed up with service with them because of the variable special. Was already thinking about getting one and this was a slam dunk. Great offer and saves me money.

The reasons I'm not continuing with Beyond Blue are: 1. Technician, though very courteous and friendly, didn't know that the high phosphate level from recent rains was causing the algae; also he kept adding chlorine even though our cyanuric acid was at or near the suggested limit (We recently had to empty out half the pool and refill with fresh water to remedy that...that was before we began using Beyond Blue.) Maybe that's ok to keep adding chlorine but I was afraid of chlorine lock in which algae would be allowed to grow. 2. We weren't receiving weekly reports automatically via email; I had to request them 3. If I wasn't home, I wouldn't know if they had come out or not unless I contacted the company (if I had received the weekly reports in a timely manner, I would have known) 4. Sometimes my calls to their office weren't answered nor was there an option for leaving a message; most of my communication was done via email which was usually promptly answered in a professional reply. Beyond Blue did offer to send a different technician and also said they were working on the software that sends out the weekly reports. I chose to discontinue their service anyway.

We had an incredible experience with Beyond Blue Pools. We wanted to update our pool and instead of giving me 10 second quote like everyone else, they spent 3 hours in my backyard. We got things exactly how we wanted and cannot be happier with the result. Nice to have a company that actually cares about service these days.

From start to finish, I enjoyed working with Beyond Blue Pools on our pool remodel. They were very thorough with all the details of options that could find in our budget. Completely transformed our backyard. Thanks from the Walkers!

Had them turn around my pool after I neglected it over the winter. Things went quickly, they did what they said and recommended needed repairs.

Took them up on their special and was very pleased. Showed up in the window they said, took a couple hours, answered a bunch of questions and were gone without a mess. Will be using them for other repairs and service. They also are going to be helping with a remodel that I'm looking to do this summer.

Had Beyond Blue Pools do new pebble on my pool, update tile, and seal and repair my flagstone decking. Everyone showed up on the day they told me they would. As the other reviewer said, was hesitant about the Planning Fee, but worth every dime. Got multiple quotes but our heart was set on these guys.

Was a little hesitant when they charged the planning and prep fee, while most others did it for free. But they credited 3x's as much to the project and were already reasonably priced. They spent more time, effort, and communication than all of the other companies combined so I can see why they charge and I guess you get what you pay for. The project itself was flawless. They were great every step of the way and being a first time pool owner, they answered every silly question that I had. Highly recommended.

They made remodeling our pool very pleasant and stress-free. The guys were professional and clean. The whole thing from start to finish was about 5 days and our pool looks incredible! What a difference.

The individual who services my pool Amit is terrific. He always greets the dogs to ensure my comfort when he enters and he services the pool fantastic. He is what makes Beyond Blue a better than average company

Great experience with Beyond Blue. I called their office and they had a technician out the following day to evaluate the damage another pool company had done to my pool. Andrew arrived on time and did great plumbing work for my new pool pump. Their prices were very reasonable and I have since signed up for them to maintain my pool on a weekly basis.

Had them do a remodel of my 20 year old pool. When we bought it the pool still had the original plaster. Kyle walked me through all of the options and it turned out great.

A gentleman named James cleans my pool each week. He is polite and respectful if I walk out and ask him any questions. It is hard to find service companies that are reliable. So far, it seems like these guys fit the bill. Pricing is good and fair. I trusted them enough to replaster my pool and they made it simple for me.

This company has done everything they said they would and I commend them for that since they set pretty high expectations. I used to own my own company and understand the difficulties but they do it well. Fair pricing, great service and even better communication.

Beyond Blue does my normal service but had some issues with my flagstone coping coming off the sides. They were able to fix it and get it done and I'd recommend them to everyone.

Reliable pool service which I was thinking was going to be an impossible task. They do a great job and are always respectful of me and my kiddos. I do not have to question if they came like some of my previous companies as I get a report at end of each service. Always nice to get a live person on the phone too.
