Four Seasons AC & Heating Company

They were here for about a month and they just finished a couple weeks ago. They started maybe mid-October.

We got a whole Mitsubishi thing put in. So far so good, it is a new system. The workers were great.

I had to replace my father's AC unit during the summer of 2015. Four Seasons provided a temporary AC unit till the new AC unit could be shipped to Kingsville. The technicians worked till 9PM on a Saturday night installing the temporary AC unit, and wouldn't leave till they were satisfied that the temporary unit was working properly. The new unit came in about a week later, and Four Seasons installed the new unit, and did an outstanding job with the install. I highly recommend Four Seasons AC & Heating Company.

I responded to a special in the paper and had Four Season's Ac and Heating come out and clean my AC unit. About a couple of weeks later my AC broke down and had to be replaced. I called the company to let them know that my unit had broken down and should have been replaced when they cleaned it a few weeks earlier. I had to call another company to come out and replace my unit, the new company explaining to me as well that my unit shouldn't have been cleaned at the time it was but that it should have been replaced. I feel as though Four Season's AC and Heating missed out on a new AC unit sale for not telling me the information when servicing my old AC unit.

I knew this was going to be expensive beforehand, but I've never had such an and quot;enjoyableand quot; check-writing experience! Jim Altman, owner of Four Seasons A/C, explained everything to me patiently and completely beforehand -- even to the point of telling me that some of the revisions/additions I was thinking of were not actually necessary, like buying a new unit. His employees, from the secretaries in the office to the men who installed the purifier to the subcontractor who blew in the insulation, were all professional as well as friendly and kind. When the secretary told me that a particular employee would stop by to set up a convenient time for blowing in the insulation, the workman did indeed come by, apologized for not being able to start that very afternoon but promised he would return with the workmen the following morning. And they did. The men who installed the purifier had to work many hours beyond what is normal installation time (I have a very old house), and they were just nice people - apologizing for taking so long, asking if I was comfortable enough without air conditioning, making sure that their tools weren't marring my wood floors - and having a wonderful sense of humor all the while working in a rather confined space.
It's this kind of work ethic I've been missing...truly home-town, honest professionals who know what they're doing and deliver services in a timely and respectful manner. Mr. Altman himself went beyond simply being an a/c service provider. One of the days before the job was to be started, I called with a question about the purifier installation and wound up asking questions totally unrelated to air conditioning but ones that involved other home repairs. He gave me his honest opinion and probably saved me several hundred dollars.

They are really good. They may be a little bit pricey but they are good. The contract with them is well worth it for us. They are very good people. They are excellent. We have a rental house, which is my father-in-law's and mother-in-law's old house, and they helped us put a system in there. Part of it is electric and part of it is gas and they did a very good job. We service it too the same way we service ours and they did a very good job on it.

We have American Home Shield warranty so when our downstairs A/C went out we called them and they sent Wynne-Air from Corpus out. Wynne-Air told AHS that the system shoudl be replaced but AHS decided to just fix the coils at a cost of $580. Wynne-Air was going to gouge us for another $320 (which we would have had to pay out of pocket) to install some kind of new switch ($150) and to pay for the permit ($170) .. the permit only costs $17 - when we told Wynne-Air that they just stated that is what they charge regardless of the actual cost. We called AHS and told them we were not happy with who they sent and that Wynne-air was gouging their customers so AHS gave us the cash-out option (we pay up front and send them copy of receipt and they will send us check for what they would have paid Wynne-Air) so we took it. We called several Heating and AC companies - Jim Altman of Four Seasons was the only one that spent any time actually looking at the current system in total, explaining to us exactly what they were going to do and why (various new code requirements) and brought us several options at various price points. His men showed up on time and were very knowledgeable and professional and they cleaned up at the end of each day. Four Seasons is the only Heating and AC company I will use from now on!
