They installed the countertop. I did all the demolition myself, removing all the old stuff. They came when they said they would and cleaned everything up. It was good. In all my dealings with home depot, you get what you pay for. They aren't going to take your money and bail on you. It is predictable that you will get a good job for the price you pay.

Delivery was included when we bought the washer. Price was slightly less than competitors. We received an automated call the morning of the scheduled delivery saying the truck was on its way. The  truck arrived within ten minutes of the scheduled time. Delivery was not by Home Depot, but by a subcontractor who brought the washer from Austin to Temple. Delivery person was professional and efficient, and the process took less than 30 minutes. He showed us how to operate the machine and started it to be sure it was working ok. He also showed us how to do some routine maintenance and gave us the packet of operating instructions. We had been unable to completely empty the old washer of water so there was a bit of a mess on the floor after the old washer was taken out. The delivery person didn't have anything to wipe the water with so we used our own rags. All in all we were quite pleased with the process.

I was so satisfied with them. When they came out for the insulation, they went swiftly and made sure I went and saw what they did. They left everything clean. They came with the truck and ran around and cleaned out everything. It was the same thing with the doors. It was a positive experience. They have really given me everything that I have wanted. They have come under what they had agreed to because when they didn’t have to use what they had estimated they gave me a refund on the material they didn’t use. They did all the professional things that they should be doing. They were not cheap but they weren’t that expensive either. So for me it was what you pay for and it was a fair price.

They were pretty bad. We found that the price was bad. They were punctual about coming back but they haven't fixed all the problems.   

We found the dishwasher we wanted at Home Depot on a Sunday, and it was on sale. The price was great, but the dishwasher would not be available for delivery for about three weeks. We scheduled delivery and were told that the delivery, hall away, and installation would be completed for $65. This sounded like a "too good to be true deal", and we asked the clerk several times whether or not the $65 included delivery, hall away, AND installation. She said that all three services were included. However, when the delivery crew showed up to drop of the dishwasher, we were THEN informed that the $65 was for delivery only. We have a truck, we could have picked up the dishwasher ourselves. I will praise the manager, though. When we went down to Home Depot to discuss the matter, he refunded our delivery charge. Folks just need to be aware that the delivery fee is just that, a delivery only fee. Installation of appliances is scheduled separately with another vendor.

It started out badly...and got even worse. They have lied to us continuously...say they are on their way...NEVER show up. If you call their store and start asking questions...they hang up on ya....or put you on hold and don't return. They said our laminate would be finished by today. They call late yesterday...no...we'll be there next wed. 6-18. In the meantime...my furniture is in the garage...carpet all over my front yard. And by "they"...I mean the Home Depot store in Killeen Tx. and the installers they use out of Austin Tx. I cannot believe I paid $14,000 for this much hell. But...I promise you...I will never darken the doorstep of Home Depot again.
