"We reviewed your and incident report to find that the crack in windshield is the result of hot water coming into contact with a pre-existing impact on your windshield. There is nothing in our wash that has 24 pounds of impact pressure needed to crack a windshield. Our large wraps spin away from your front windshield (spin inward towards your vehicle on either side) and have 3-4 pounds of pressure coming into contact with the side windows. The curtains of cloth simply pull over the top of the vehicle with hardly any pressure. The other items that come into contact are the water and air. The video review shows that you have several impact "spots" on your vehicle prior to entering and that equipment operated correctly for your wash. Although we did not cause your issue, we certainly apologize the issue was exposed in our tunnel. We will continue to provide a safe, fast, friendly, and economical wash to our customers.
