The service job was okay, but pricing turned out to be not so transparent. After a $350 quote for the entire job of cleaning coils, etc. an unspecified amount of Freon was added upon completion. He then told me there was an additional charge of $120 for Freon, without even asking or at least telling the customer beforehand what the additional cost would be, with the option to decline due to pricing! He was talked down to $80, but I still consider this a dishonest approach to business. Freon levels were read a month earlier and were almost normal, with no leaks. He explained Freon was expensive (sic). Sorry... Chavez A/C is out of my favorites list!
