A-1 Glass & Window Company, established in 1974, is a full service glass, window and door company serving Killeen and the entire central Texas area. We manufacture and install custom glass products, windows and storm doors. Company was very busy at the time I called. The estimate was done on time and glass for the window ordered promptly. It did take several calls to stay updated on the progress. Once the glass arrived, the installer came when he said he would, finished the job very expertly in a short period of time. I would definitely use them again.

Things went horribly, we had an appointment time between 09 a.m. and 1 p.m. The technician was running late, but we received no warning nor notice. At 1:05 I was told he would arrive in latest 15 minutes. At 2:35, I called the company as the Tech had still not arrived. I was told they would call him and get back to me. 15 minutes later, I called again and was put on hold so the technician could NOW be called. Unprofessional, unreliable, and unconcerned, I would never recommend anyone to select this company. Excuse after excuse was all I received when speaking with the company representative. I have never had such poor and unresponsive service. Once the technician arrived, he handled the situation well. Finally, a positive development! The job did not get done, we were given a subsequent appointment in 8 days. Marvelous. Scheduling was very poor and communication was worse. The "technician" also failed to put the blind slider into the rail when finished. I will not use this company for any future work.

They were very busy, so it took a few weeks before they could come do the install. On the installation date, they called ahead to let us know they were on their way, arrived on time, did a professional job and cleaned up after themselves. We did have a problem with the installation and called them to come fix it. They came out that afternoon and took care of it. Although it was inconvenient to wait our turn, it also means that their services are in demand, which can be a good sign.

When I called they were polite and listened to what I needed. Someone came within 24 hours to give me a quote. After he quoted me on the price and we agreed for him to do the work, he took the screens and said he would bring them back fixed when the window was ready to be installed. He came back about a week later and did an excellent job of installing the new window and the screens looked brand new!

I called A-1 Glass and Window Co. to request an estimate to have my back porch screened in and a glass top made for my dining room table. They scheduled the estimate and showed up right on time. They took measurments for both projects and provided me with an estimate. The material for the screen porch had to be ordered so it took three weeks to arrive but it was well worth the wait. The workers were very professional and the quality of the work was outstanding. The glass for the table was tinted amber and hides all the scratches that were on my table very nicely. It also fit perfectly onto my table. The glass had nice rounded edges.
I've been enjoying the screened porch for several weeks now and I'm very happy with it. It has a door that locks and is very sturdy. No more mosquitos.
