KILGORE SMALL ANIMAL HOSPITAL

I'm very pleased with them. Very kind and very thorough, very clean clinic. The doctor is on call and gives you a number at which you can get him 24/7 and the place is very, very clean. The people that work there are very kind. I've never seen anyone that worked there that wasn't kind and loved the animals they take care of. I appreciate that I can get my animal in to get some help for it whenever I really need someone. I don't have to worry about taking it to another place called an emergency place. Dr. Ray reminds me of the little elf at the end of the rainbow, he is so sweet. He is a very caring doctor and I appreciate that so much. He loves my animal as much as I do and they keep very good records on my cat. It's not a quick shot place. You need an appointment to get in, but they will get to you if you are in need. It is the place with a heart. It has more heart than any other veterinarian in Kilgore. They do board animals. They're very professional with their record keeping. Even the receptionist will take home small orphaned animals and take care of them, rather than leave them at the clinic when they have to be fed every two hours.

Dr. Ray at Kilgore Small Animal Hospital is the sweetest, caring vet. He loves animals. He gives out his cellphone, pager and home number. You've always got a way to reach him and he answers immediately and he will meet you there at night if you have a problem with your animal. He knows the animal from a first name basis. He's got a lot of animals, too. He's a good vet.. He's not one to have you always come back if it's something you can take care of it at home. He gives you directions and also gives you the option of bringing your animal back for him to medicate if don't feel comfortable with doing it yourself. But he will give you directions on how to do it so that it won't cost you that much.
The place is really clean and all the staff are very helpful. They all love animals just like Dr. Ray.
