We have moved many times and this was the worst move ever thanks to Riverhill. I called and spoke with Carlos to get an estimate. I tried to give him a complete inventory of our home, including each piece of furniture. He would not let me finish. He estimated $2000. He showed up with one small u-haul truck. They had to get three trucks and they still tied our patio furniture to the roof of one of the trucks. He did not bring enough trucks, did not bring the boxes we requested, and did not bring enough furniture pads or wrap. Carlos assured me they would be careful with our furniture and wrap all of it. But they did not. Almost every piece of furniture was damaged, some of it severely, and most of it antique and irreplaceable. He charged $5500 for the move. There was absolutely no compensation for the damage. Very unprofessional all around.

They quoted a price of $600 and then charged $900.  They did not wrap furniture as promised.  2 workers instead of the 3 promised workers were sent.
The 2 workers greatly slowed down their pace after lunch in an obvious attempt to stretch out the day.  They were determined to stay until five, even though the job did not require that many hours.  When I called and asked about the 50% price increase and the fact that they did not wrap mattresses and delicate furniture, the only remedy I received was an "I'm sorry".
I would not recommend this moving company.  They sounded very nice and promising; however, they do not keep their word and make no attempt for amends when asked.

They moved me when I wanted them too.  It worked out very well.  The storage charge was also quite reasonable.
