I am a third generation wood floor installer and finisher. I have over thirty years experiance in the trade. I do all the work personally myself. I do not use subcontractors. I give free estimate.

The master bedroom in the house needed the oak floors refinished following a water line rupturing in the master bathroom.
Of the three wood floor refinishers for my area, only Mr Rankin returned my call. His family, (he's third generation) had done the original oak floors in the house when it was built in 1963.
He arrived at the house to meet me when he said he would, checked the moisture levels in the floor, measured, and called me with an estimate within two days.
I had to delay the start time because of an unforeseen medical emergency, and he was very gracious in acoomodating me..
When things finally were settled from that, I called him, and he set a new time to do the work. He sanded the floor, and applied three coats of polyurethane.
The floor looks as beautiful as when the house was built originally. I am so thrilled, I hope to be able to have the rest of the hardwood floors in the house refinished in the future, and would also like to have him refinish the oak floors in my personal residence

Slow but superb work. I've had wood (Oak) floors installed before, but Rankin's craftsmanship is the finest I've seen.
