This was the second time we have used this company. My childhood friend owner Stephen Rodriquez and his crew did an awesome job. Like the first time he scheduled us at the last minute. His crew did amazing job at a fair price. Customer service was on point and they handled and moved everything and we were very much appreciated. I know In the future to always call Pioneer! Thank you Job well done!

This was my 14th move in the past 20 years and by far the absolute worst. As a family friend of the original owner, who practiced professionalism and courtesy, I was appalled at how I and my belongings were treated.
* First the team of and quot;twoand quot; showed up 35 minutes late. I was never called about the delay, instead having to call Benny 20 minutes after appointment time to find out where the team was.
* Second, I asked the movers to pack the boxes first and they started to pack the furniture first. I had to ask again.
* Third, the team of and quot;twoand quot; was really a team of 1 experienced mover and 1 kid who lacked independence or strength. The driver/team lead had to give the kid very specific tasks and when the kid was finished, he would stand there until the team lead stopped what he was doing and gave him another specific task. When it came to moving the piano and washer/dryer, the kid seemed to be in the way more than helping as he was unable to match the lifting ability of the team lead and the team lead had to lift both ends one at a time instead of both of them lifting at once. I wound up assisting the team lead to move the piano into the new location. The kid's shorts kept falling down to his knees and even the team lead finally told him that he had to find some way to tighten his belt enough to keep them up. Not only did this and quot;teamand quot; lack two competent movers, but the experienced mover wound up having to do more work to make up for the other's lack of independence, initiative, and strength.
* Fourth, They lacked the appropriate working dollies to move the piano, despite Benny's walk through/prior notice of moving a piano. So we stood around and waited for Benny to bring the dollies.
* Fifth, they lacked the address of the house to where they were moving the furniture!!!!!
* Sixth, I was worried about how long this was taking (arrived late plus slow pace of move itself), and mentioned this to team lead, and asking if unloading would go faster. He became defensive and told me that I could call another moving company. Really? After you have my furniture loaded in your truck and the back of your shirt says and quot;Professional and Courteousand quot;?
* Seventh, they messed up my garage door sensors.
* Eighth, they and quot;missplacedand quot; a shelf to a bookcase and when I pointed it out to them, claimed it must have been left behind. And that was it. No apology, no recompense, no effort at all. Returned to original house and it was not there. How do you missplace a bookshelf between 25 miles?
* Ninth, pieces broke off of at least two pieces of furniture in the move. One was an antique bookshelf. Again, no apology, nothing.
* Tenth, When unloading my boxes, several of them fell about 5 feet and hit the concrete pretty hard. They also slammed the lift with my piano onto the ground with a resounding crash.
* Eleventh, I called Benny several times during the move and he never answered the phone or called me back. I finally had the driver call him and Benny was very defensive and rude to me on the phone.
* The job took 3 times as long as what Benny had quoted me, probably due to the lack of a true two man team and the lack of appropriate equipment. But mind you I still had to pay for the entire time despite the fact that they were at fault. I also had to eat the lost book shelf, broken furniture, messed up garage sensors, whatever damage was caused to the piano and items in the boxes that fell. No discount or apology was provided. The team lead became increasingly rude, hostile, and threatening.
Pioneer moving was very careless, discourteous, disrespectful, ill-prepared, and downright mean. Since the team lead repeatedly told me to call another company, then I encourage every single Angie's list user to take his advice and contract with another moving company.

We used 3 movers ($85 per hour) because we had a very large item. They arrived on time, were very hard-working and efficient. They were very polite and clean.
They didn't take too much time even though there was a drive involved. They were careful with all of the items and nothing was damaged.

These guys were on time, professional and knew what they were doing. They even followed me to Moore's Furniture, picked up furniture, and delivered it back to my home. What a service! I cannot say enough good things about them. Will certainly use them again for any future moving needs I have.

They showed up on time with the right equipment, got everything loaded properly and securely, took it to the destination, unloaded, and left. Everything went exactly as we expected. No damage to anything. Pleasant, clean, professional, and hard working. What more can you ask of a moving service?

Workers were friendly, courteous and very dependable. They worked together as a team, beautifully.
