Gromes Sewing Machine

My wife had an issue with her Janome sewing machine not working properly.  We took the machine to Gromes and it was checked over and found to be a user error and charged us nothing.  This company is known for its great sewing machine repair at a reasonable price.  They also sell new machines and all accessories for sewing machines.

I bought a Janome electronic sewing machine online when I was overseas, and this poor baby ran for three years without a service. When we got home to Texas, I brought her into Grome's for some TLC. They could have totally ripped me off, telling me that it needed a major overhaul because it had not been serviced for so long, and I would have been none the wiser. Instead, they advised me that they would start with a minor service and only add to it if they found something extra needed doing. 
Well, the final total was more than a minor service, but less than a major, so they did have to do some extra work, but they didn't fall over themselves in any hurry to charge me up Wahoo Creek for it. I felt that I'd been treated honestly and fairly. They were fast too, only taking a couple of days to complete the job.
Not only that, they are incredibly friendly and really helpful! The shop is new, in the process of final shopfitting after moving recently from Junction Highway, but it looks terrific and they will, apparently, be offering some classes. They have new and secondhand machines for sale, and a variety of notions and accessories. 
I shall definitely use them again in future and recommend them to others.
