Terrible!!!!!! I contacted Dorsey's Unlimted Construction in early August. I set up an appointment for Saturday August 20 to have someone come to my home and give me an estimate for the repairs. Jennifer Williams came to my home on the appointed day, we presented Ms. Williams with a list of work to be completed, discussed options and Ms. Williams left us samples of roofing materials for us to look over. One month later I had no estimate and had no communication from Ms. Williams. I called the company to find out how the estimate was coming along. I was told by Ms.Williams that she lost our information, but she was still interested in the job. Ms. Williams and a member of her work crew came back to my home, took measurements, we discussed repair options and she said that she would have an estimate to us in 10-14 days. Three weeks later again no communication from Ms. Williams. Again I called the company to see about my estimate. Ms. Williams called me back and we set up an appointment for today October 18 @ 5:30 pm. Ms. Williams never showed up today, called, emailed or sent a text to say she could not keep the appointment. I called Ms. Williams cell to find out when she might arrive. She had forgotten the appointment. Ok, done with Dorsey's Unlimited Construction. I need a contractor that I can count on, not one that does not stay in communication. If this is how this company chooses to do business, I don't see how they stay in business. Very poor customer service. Glad we didn't hire to do work on our home!

Would give roofers an A for repairing the leak and fast response but rude representative ruined both experience and future referrals. Jeff met w/ husband regarding a roof leak on my back patio. I was told that they would remove and re shingle back corner. The price was $475. Roofers came, fixed problem but only had to remove 1 row of shingles and caulk. Roofers said Jeff would be by to pick up check. Called Jeff to see when he would be by and inquired if the price would be the same since they didn't have to remove as much of the roof. He immediately became defensive and said he had 3 men on the roof and he agreed to repair the roof. Tried to explain I was just trying to understand why if it took less that the price was the same he asked me " Are you done talking?" (Who is he my father?) I said "yes", he said "well I can't talk if you're talking over me." then accused me of trying to negotiate on back end. Picked up check was still defensive and rude. Needs customer service training.

They did a great job on the roof. They worked with us in getting the roof paid for by our insurance company. One negative was they damaged some of the eaves of the house. It was challenge to get them back over to fix it; they ended up getting us paint so we could do it ourselves because we were on a strict timeline to sell the house. It was a little blemish in the experience but overall they were great to work with and did a wonderful job. I think had we not been in a time crunch they would have been able to fix it themselves. I would definitely use their service again and recommend them.

They do excellent work. We have used their services three times.  They come out right away. They send out someone first who looks over the work, if he can do the job he will do it right then otherwise they will send out a technician. Their pricing is extremely reasonable.

Once we agreed to work with them they were here for the repairs within a week. I thought they were very friendly. They did exactly what they said they would going to do and did it within budget. I would use them again in the future.

They did a really good job. Scheduling was great, once we decided to go with them they were here doing the roof within two weeks. The crew was about 4-5 people and they completed the job in one day. They left nothing behind in the yard after completing the service.

The project manager, John Pope, is very knowlegable in how insurance companies operate, and he worked with them to get additional funds for shortfalls and estimator mistakes.  He is also on the cutting edge with roofing materials, giving me a better roof than the old one.  The work crew damaged a hose roller and garden statue but they paid for it.

Inside work performed was to take out the door, wall it up, match the inside finish on the wall with the rest of the walls and paint it. Outside work performed was replacing the outer walls around the balcony and over our garage, paint them and replace the rails around the balcony. We got several estimates and theirs seemed the most reasonable and after the work they did on the roof we felt very good about them. The work was performed over a few days and the balcony has never looked better. One worry was we had was replacing the rails as the old were attached to the sides of the house and to the floor that is over the sun room and with the removal and then reattachment of the rails to the floor we didn’t want to incur any leaks into the sun room. Since the work has been done we have had quite a bit of rain with some severe weather and so far, no leaks!

Estimate was given, They worked with the insurance company quite a bit and made sure that nothing was missed. We decided on them and work started within 30 days. Roof was taken care of in one day, all mess was cleaned up very well. Gutters were done s few days later and then the skylight (which was ordered was done about a week after that). Everything looks great and the gutters are not leaking at all which is a vast improvement over the ones we had.

The cost was well within reason especially compared to some other estimates we got.

Overall, the service was excellent. They were very efficient, professional, and have been very cooperative. They worked directly with the insurance company. They used a big magnet to clean up any roofing nails that might’ve gotten into the yard, and they did a very professional job! Their service was friendly, personable, good all the way around, and I was very pleased.

After contacting Dorsey Roofing, Rodney Dorsey came out and inspected the roof, and I decided to have Dorsey work with my insurance co. to replace the damaged roof.  The original inspection from the insurance company had incorrectly agreed to replace the roof with a "slate-like" roof.  The original roof was GAF Slate Line brand and Dorsey worked out the details with my insurance company.  The roofing crew arrived about 6:30am with about 7 - 8 workers.  They worked for 2 1/2 days from dawn to after dusk.  They cleaned up completely after the reroofing with no damage to our plants.  Rodney came out two to three times a day to make sure things were going well.  The roof looks great and we are very pleased with the entire process.
