Apex Remodeling

This is a very knowledgeable husband and wife team with many years of experience in construction and remodeling.  After seeing the metal roof they installed on my sister?s roof, I decided I wanted a metal roof also.  They did a terrific job and were great to work with.  They were on time every morning and worked from sunup to sundown always cleaning up before departing each day.  Cost and timeframe to complete the work were reasonable.  They do all types of work with the exception of tile and carpet installation.  I will be hiring them again for bathroom and kitchen remodeling in the future.

It went better than planned, they did more than asked for and I even had additional work not discussed that was performed on the spot and at a more than reasonable rate. They discovered problems not noticed with the plumbing after two others had been under the house to inspect and never reported it. What stood out in my mind was they actually thought out what really needed to be done. For example, this house is 62 years old and is pier and beam and very thick wooding and oak floors on the top. There was some damage that extended from the bathroom into the kitchen due to water damage by the previous contractor. Instead of replacing the floor (where it couldn't be seen anyway) with generic today’s wood from a lumber yard, they replaced it with wood from the era this house was built. So yes, they very much pay attention to detail. You want a contractor that will tell you the
things you don’t know. I trust them and this is why Angie’s list exists to weed out the “bad” ones from the good ones. Apex Remodeling informs you and you make the decision as how to proceed.

One thing stands out in my mind: during the Patio remodeling, the existing roof had to be removed. The Sun was shining relentlessly in my picture window. They covered it up with plywood sheets to keep the temperature in the house bearable. I was very grateful for that.
