Elaine is very bossy, rude, and arrogant. We felt that once we listed with her, it was like taking home a new pet with rabies. We just wanted the whole process to be over with. She was in such a rush through the process- expecting us to be able to run errands and scan and fax and make phone calls while we were at our full-time jobs. And when we would tell her we can't because we're at work she would make borderline harrassing and accusatory comments. She would also call late in the evening and complain to us about arguments she had with other realtors. Her bad personal skills are a negative when there are many other well-qualified realtors who charge less for better service. We were motivated sellers and did everything we could to expedite the sale and sold the house because we priced it very competitively. Beware of a lot of concessions from Elaine to make a quick sale--she's not in the business to care about your interests. And if you ask her to clearly explain things she will do her best to belittle you so you will stop asking questions. I would not use Elaine Marak Properties again.
