+ 4 moreThe jobs were completed on time. Clean-up was excellent. There were no surprises. The workers and the supervision are excellent. We are always on a tight budget. West Metro give us excellent work and very reasonable prices. The service is very professional and very personal.
Description of Work: West Metro Construction has been doing work for me since last September. They rebuilt my balcony, replaced most of my siding, reframed the windows that needed it, painted the exterior of my house, stained my fence, removed popcorn from my ceilings, painted most of the interior of my home. When we are ready, I will have them do a full remodel of my kitchen and bathrooms, including ceramic tile.

+ -1 moreAll he wanted to do was one room and the bathroom. That turned me off immediately. I wasn't really pleased with his attitude. The quote was over $60,000. He said he could do certain things and charged me more than what the whole project should have cost. He was generally professional even though he did not have the best attitude.
Description of Work: I contacted West Metro get a quote for remodeling. The work would have included an add-on to the back of the house which is about 900 sq. ft.

+ 2 moreTom was professional from start to finish. He provided a detailed estimate and completed quality work in a timely manner. We were on a tight budget and his prices were very reasonable. He was on-site to supervise all sub-contractors. His sub-contractors did great work and were quality individuals. He quickly responded to concerns we had and was flexible in making changes as needed as the project evolved. We plan to use him in the future as we continue work on our home.
Description of Work: Rebuilt a balcony. Replaced siding. Exterior painting. Interior painting.

Description of Work: Mr Barnes did a complete remodel of our previous home including the addition of about 400 square feet. Mr Barnes was very helpful with ideas we never though of. When we put this home on the market in 2005 it was his remodel that sold the house within days of being offered. We have also used Mr Barnes at our present home for different jobs from carpentery to electrical to painting. He is always very polite and does his best to stay within the allowed budget. We will use Mr. Barnes again whenever there is a need.

+ -1 moreOne thing I can say about Tom Barnes is that both he and his men are very professional and trustworthy. They came out when they said they would and the job they did was fantastic. I really like the way the trim now looks and I wouldn t hesitate to use them again.
Description of Work: This contractor stripped all the outside trim around our 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home, fine sanding and filling in cracks wherever necessary. Then they applied a layer of primer and when it dried, a coat of mold resistant outdoor paint. They did this in three days total.
