At 6 AM, while replacing worn-out toilet internal guts, the toilet water shutoff valve failed. I immediately called Tim and he was able to get my running water turned off that day with his usual excellent service. I have been using Tim for years and he is always dependable and thorough; willing to go the extra mile.

He is very pleasant and hardworking guy.

Tim is fabulous, thorough, and clean! He's re-routing our pipes because of a slab leak and definitely knows what he's doing. He did a wonderful job putting the new pipe in behind a cabinet because our roof is rather low and cleaned up after all of the dust and yuck that come from cutting into the wall! I'd highly recommend him to anyone!

Tim is the consummate professional and did the job quickly, cleanly and thoroughly.

Everything went well. Tim stayed after hours on a Friday to fix a leak recently, and did not leave until the work was completed.

We sold our house and moved out. The faucet behind the washer was leaking. Tim came out and replaced both faucets and sent us the bill before the new owner moved in. Tim has been our plumber for about 8 years and we highly recommend him.

He did a good job. He is a good guy. He did good quality work.

Tim Darnell is our go to plumber whenever anything goes wrong with plumbing in our home.  Have been using him for several years now and he is the best.  We had a bathtub in our guest room which was draining slowly and it also had a leaking faucet spout.  Tim cleaned the drain and totally replaced the faucet spout with top of the line materials.  Also replaced two shower faucet/cartridge works in our main bathroom.  Total cost was $321 which was very reasonable as it took a while to replace the bathtub faucet spout as it had to be totally removed, soldered and replaced with new parts.  Tim is an extremely neat workman who is always very cautious about keeping our home clean.  Will use him again whenever we need plumbing assistance.

Things went very well.  Tim worked fast and steady.  Removed shoes when entering the house so as not to track or make  a mess.  Collected the water that had gasket debris so it would not go down the sink and carried it to the front yard and dumped it.  We were very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism.  He didn't dilly dally but worked quickly to diagnose the problem after we had given him the basics.  Worked equally as hard and fast to complete the job in a timely manner.  Cleaned up afterward.  Did an excellent job and for a fair price.  I would definitely use him again.......and again.

Our hot water heater valve was leaking.  Tim came the same day.  He replaced the leaking valve and added a second shutoff valve on the cold side.  He stayed until the jobs were complete.  He said our hot and cold lines were crossed and said it would work this way, but not properly.  He gave us the option to add a second shutoff valve and correct the crossing of the lines. Tim replaced the leaking valve, 2 flex supply lines, and added the correct location shutoff valve.
We can't say enough about Tim.  He's an expert, he has extraordinary work ethics, he's prepared, he works hard, he's diligent, he has great workmanship, he's friendly, he's up to date on city regulations, the list goes on.  Thank you Tim.

I was extremely pleased with the service.  Since my problem was not an emergency I told Tim he could put me on the schedule when it was convenient and he came the next week, which was great.  I found him to be very friendly and knowledgeable and he fixed the issues so that everything is perfect.  I would definitely recommend him.

Tim is very good about communicating and scheduling.  He is polite, professional, and easy to work with.   He arrived on time, and worked non-stopped to fix all of our plumbing issues.  We would definitely use his services again. 

I routinely go to Angie?s List when I need someone to do work that is beyond my ability, and I depend a lot on the reviews for various service providers. I do not recall ever seeing a provider whose review grades were all ?A?s,? that is, until I found Tim Darnell. As you can see in the description above, the work I needed done was not complicated. I have used 2 other plumbing services from Angie?s List but they are commercialized companies who have travel times, strict book rates, employees who may or may not be conscientious, etc., and none of them have all ?A? review grades. I did not want to call one of them for my simple repairs, so I called Tim.

 

Tim returned my call in a timely manner and told me he was on a large, time-consuming job. He said it would be a week or so before he could do my work. That was fine with me since I had no leaks or other inconvenient issues. Then, when he came to do the work he arrived at the agreed upon time ? on the dot. He carried in the tools and equipment he would need so there was no running back and forth to the truck. I found him to be hard-working and focused on the job, yet he took time to communicate with me about what he found and how he would fix it properly. Here is another important point: when Tim left, the work areas were as clean, or cleaner, than when he started. I have NEVER seen any other plumber do that.

 

I could go on and on about how impressed I was with Tim Darnell as a person and as a skilled and customer-focused plumber. I noted that several other reviewers wrote that he ?is the best? and I say ditto to that. I will definitely use him again whenever I need a plumber.
